Apple seems to be changing gears by making big changes in its product portfolio. We have already heard different rumours that talk about a possible foldable device and a quad curved, sleek anniversary edition iPhone. Now, a reliable tipster, Majin Bu, has sparked a fresh discussion about the upcoming lineup and shared a possible roadmap of the company. While the claims remain unverified, it does go with the broader industry rumours hinting that Apple is preparing for its biggest lineup overhaul in years.
As per the leaks, Apple may bring a more fragmented release cycle, unlike its traditional once-a-year launch pattern. For the upcoming launch, the company is said to bring premium models such as the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and a long-rumoured foldable iPhone. The foldable iPhone is said to be unveiled at the same event but to go on sale later this year.
He later suggested that in early 2027, Apple may roll out models like iPhone 18, iPhone 18e and iPhone Air 2 early this year. Later in the year, the company is said to introduce the iPhone 19 Pro and iPhone 19 Pro Max, along with a special edition device.
One of the more ambitious claims in the leak is the 20th anniversary, a wraparound or “quad-curved screen” design, potentially eliminating traditional display cutouts. If accurate, this can be a game-changer for Apple, specifically in markets like India.
For now, the details remain under wraps, but the leaks strongly point towards a new lineup and products with different form factors and release cycles. We might have to wait to know more about the upcoming launches.
As per the reports, the Apple iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, along with the iPhone Fold, may launch in September. The exact dates are yet to be announced, but leaks hint that Apple may organise the event in the second week of the month.
