Apple iPhone Fold launch timeline
Apple may release the iPhone Fold in September, alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. If this is true, it will coincide with Apple’s 50th anniversary. This goes in line with the previous leaks that suggest it may follow a different launch strategy. This means that the iPhone 18, iPhone 18e and other devices will be released early next year, while the iPhone 18 Pro series and the first foldable will be released this year, possibly in September.

Apple iPhone Fold price expectations
As per the tipster, the iPhone Fold will debut in three variants with 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. He also mentioned China’s pricing of the device. As per him, the 256GB variant may be priced at around 15,999 yuan (around Rs 2,15,277) while the 512GB variant could be priced at around 17,999 yuan (around Rs 2,42,259) and the top-end variant with 1TB storage could be priced at around 19,999 yuan (around Rs 2,69,139). The device is said to feature 12GB LPDRR5x RAM.

As per the reports, the iPhone Fold is said to feature a 5.5-inch outer display and a 7.8-inch inner AMOLED pane. The leaks also claim that Apple could skip FaceID. Under the hood, the device may have the A20 Pro chipset. The device is also said to have a dual rear camera setup. The device is said to run on iOS 27 and offer a variety of Apple Intelligence features.
