After mixed responses for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, Apple is now preparing to introduce the iPhone 18 Pro series. While the major focus of the fans this year is on the rumoured iPhone Fold, the iPhone 18 Pro Max is also said to get good upgrades. This year, Apple Intelligence is said to be the core focus, along with some design tweaks and camera upgrades. There may be some enhancements to the front side with a possible smaller dynamic island and the under-display camera. The Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max is said to feature a 6.9-inch OLED display with ProMotion technology, 120Hz refresh rate and 3,000 nits peak brightness. It could draw its power from the yet-to-be-announced A20 Pro chip based on the 2nm process. The device could feature a 5,100 mAh battery backup with 40W fast charging. It will run on iOS 27, the latest leaks suggest.

In terms of camera, the device may feature a triple rear camera, led by a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide and a 48MP periscope telephoto camera with 4x optical zoom. For selfies, the device may feature a 24MP front camera.
The latest leaks surfacing online suggest that the Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max could launch with the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Fold in September. However, the iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e could launch next year, possibly early 2027.
