The Apple iPhone 17 Pro series, specifically the iPhone 17 Pro Max has been in the headlines for a while now, thanks to the leaks. The device is said to have some massive improvements after years, including the design change. This year, the Apple iPhone 17 Pro, or maybe Apple iPhone 17 Ultra, could get a rectangular camera island with a familiar camera layout but upgraded lenses.
Under the hood, the device is tipped to offer big changes including a new processor, a dedicated vapour cooling chamber, an enhanced RAM to support Apple Intelligence features and so on. While these advancements will be a welcome upgrade for the fans, will it affect the price this year?
As per the latest reports, the iPhone 17 Pro Max could be priced at around Rs 1,64,990 in the Indian market. To recall, the iPhone 16 Pro Max was introduced at Rs 1,44,900. While these are just rumours, this price hike could be possible due to the US tariffs uncertainty, saturated demand, and more.

However, it is still too early to predict the prices. Since Apple has been investing in the manufacturing plans set up in India and exports, it is possible that the iPhone 17 series may not see a price hike. Anyway, we will get a clear picture in September.
As per the reports, Apple could be introducing the iPhone 17 Pro Max along with iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Air, and iPhone 17 in September, possibly in the second week.
Apple is said to get a big 6.9-inch SuperRetina XDR panel with ProMotion tech. The device is said to get a 3nm A19 Pro chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM. The device is also said to get a better battery backup. The device may debut with iOS 26 and get some new AI features.
As for the camera, the device may come with a triple 48MP camera including Wide, Ultra-Wide, and a new Telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom. The device may also support 8K recording.
