iPhone 17
The Apple iPhone 17 series is getting closer to its global debut, and excitement is already building among tech enthusiasts. With rumours pointing to a major design overhaul, a newly surfaced hands-on image has sparked renewed interest by revealing what appears to be the first real look at the iPhone 17 Pro’s redesigned camera layout.
A hands-on photo of the Apple iPhone 17 Pro was recently posted on X by well-known leaker Majin Bu. With a large camera island, three cameras, and the flash and LiDAR sensor moved to the right, the image hints that Apple is planning a massive redesign. The image also corresponds to previous leaks indicating that Apple may introduce a camera island that matches the colour of the rear panel, making it look more organised. However, it is worth noting that Apple has not confirmed the iPhone 17 series design overhaul and we will have to wait till the launch event to know more.
The company is also expected to shift to the aluminum frame, a shift from the titanium frame in the iPhone 16 Pro series.
Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 17 Pro alongside the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, and the iPhone 17 Ultra in September. As per the latest reports, the iPhone 17 launch event may be in between September 11-13.
The device is expected to feature a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR display. It may get Apple silicone’s latest A19 Pro chipset along with 12GB RAM to back the upcoming Apple Intelligence features. While there’s no specific word about the battery backup, the leaks hint at up to 30 hours of video playback.
