iPhone 16 Pro
Apple will likely unveil its next-generation iPhones, comprising iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max and a new iPhone 17 Air model (tentatively) in September. While Official details are yet to come, the rumours have been hinting at some significant upgrades over last year’s iPhone 16 series. Among the most hyped speculations are the 120Hz refresh rate display across the lineup, a third 48MP telephoto camera on the Pro models and a 24MP selfie camera. Plus, the tech giant is also tipped to replace the Plus model with a new iPhone 17 Air.
While it’s too early to confirm any of these details, here’s what we know so far about the upcoming iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
The Apple iPhone 17 is expected to be priced at Rs 79,900, while the Pro model could cost around Rs 1,39,999, and the iPhone 17 Pro Max may be priced at Rs 1,64,999 in India.
The standard iPhone 17 will likely ship with a 6.3-inch 120Hz ProMotion display. This will be a significant improvement in years, as standard iPhone models feature a 60Hz refresh rate display until now. Other leaked details include a 24MP front-facing camera and Apple’s A19 chipset under the hood.

Apple will reportedly bring some noticeable design changes this year, including an aluminium frame replacing the titanium frame, a rectangular camera module and more. In terms of size, both the iPhone 17 Pro and the Pro Max are expected to stick with the same 6.3-inch screen and the 6.9-inch display, respectively. The phones may get a new look with a half-glass finish on the rear panel and a new broader rectangular camera island.
Additionally, the Pro models are also expected to receive significant improvements on the camera front. They will likely get a 48MP telephoto camera in addition to the 48MP primary and 48MP ultra-wide sensors. On the front, both smartphones may come with a 24MP selfie camera. Additionally, the handsets may also feature 8K video recording, dual video mode and an adjustable aperture to improve low-light and portrait photos.
Under the hood, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max will reportedly be powered by Apple’s A19 Pro chip.
