Apple is gearing up for its next big hardware launch event in September. This year, the company is expected to unveil the iPhone 17 series with some significant changes. If leaks are believed to be true, the iPhone Pro models are likely to get a revamped camera module, better battery life, a powerful processor and an upgraded telephoto sensor. While Apple is yet to confirm any details, a recent leak also suggests that fans may not have to wait longer to get their hands on the next-gen iPhones, as they could arrive in early September. Here’s everything we know so far about both devices.
The Apple iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are tipped to launch on September 8 and go on sale starting September 19, alongside standard iPhone 17 and the iPhone 17 Air. However, these are not the confirmed dates, and Apple is yet to announce the details.
Both devices, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, are likely to get a rectangular camera island that spans across the top of the rear panel, housing a familiar triple camera setup. Additionally, Apple may offer an aluminium frame, replacing a Titanium frame. Both devices are also said to get a dedicated vapour cooler chamber.
The iPhone 17 Pro is tipped to feature a 6.3-inch Super Retina OLED panel with ProMotion tech, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max could get a 6.9-inch display. Both devices could come equipped with an A19 Pro chipset and are likely to feature 12GB RAM. The iPhone 17 Pro is said to pack a 4,500 mAh battery, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max could ship with a 5,000 mAh battery.
In terms of camera, both iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max could feature a similar 48MP triple rear camera setup. On the front, the entire iPhone 17 lineup is tipped to get a 24MP front-facing camera.
