Apple is gearing up to unveil its next generation of iPhones, and the much-anticipated iPhone 17 Air is already grabbing headlines for an exceptionally slim design. The device is expected to have a thickness of anywhere between 5.5mm. While the leaked 0.35mm difference in thickness doesn’t sound massive, a recently leaked dummy unit of iPhone 17 Air placed beside Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge shows a noticeable difference.
Leakster @theonecid has shared a comparison image of an iPhone 17 Air dummy unit and Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge, showcasing the former as noticeably slimmer. However, the handset’s camera module seems to protrude slightly more.
Here’s all we know about the upcoming iPhone 17 Air.
According to reports, Apple plans to introduce the iPhone 17 series, comprising the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the new iPhone 17 Air, on September 8. However, the official sale date and pre-order details remain under wraps
