It includes improved performance along with a new Apple C1X modem for better networking. It may also get a dynamic island along with an improved display. The Apple iPhone 17e is said to retain the 6.1-inch OLED panel with a 60Hz refresh rate, but the addition of the dynamic island will make it a worthy upgrade, the leaks added. The device may get an A19 chipset over the A18 chip in the iPhone 16e. The device may also get the newer N1 wireless networking chip for more stable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi performance. The device may get a bigger 4,005 mAh battery, a jump from the iPhone 16e. Yet another possible jump could be MagSafe charging with speeds up to 25W.
In terms of the camera, the device could get a 48MP Fusion camera, much similar to the iPhone 16e. However, the addition of the A19 chip could help in better optimised images. On the front, we may get to see an upgraded 18MP selfie camera.
As per reports, the Apple iPhone 17e is expected to launch on February 19, along with the budget iPads and Macs. However, Apple has not announced the official dates and availability details at the moment and we may have to wait for a few days to know more.
As per the reports, the Apple iPhone 17e is said to be priced at around Rs 64,990 in India for the base 128GB storage. The 256GB variant is expected to cost around Rs 69,990. For the unversed, the iPhone 16e launched with a price tag of Rs 59,990 in India.
