The Micromax Canvas Lite A92 is available for pre-order online for Rs. 8,499. The smartphone shows off a 5-inch display and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Micromax is all set to add another 5-inch smartphone to its product portfolio. The device is christened as the Micromax Canvas Lite A92 and is available for pre-order on Infibeam.com, where it has an estimated release date of July 3. As of writing this article, the smartphone isn’t available on Saholic and Flipkart lists it as an out-of-stock item.

The Micromax Canvas Lite A92 has a 5-inch IPS display with a 480X854 pixel resolution giving it a 196ppi pixel density. A 1GHz dual-core processor along with 512MB of RAM powers the smartphone. It has 4GB of built-in storage of which a mere 0.94GB is user accessible, but you can expand the storage up to 32GB via a microSD card.

The rear of the Canvas Lite A92 has a 5MP camera, and the smartphone also boasts of dual-SIM capabilities. In terms of connectivity options you have access to 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, and GPS. A 2000mAh battery powers the entire package.

The specifications of the smartphone seem right considering the asking price. If you are looking for a smartphone under the Rs. 9,000 mark, you can also take a look at the Sony Xperia E, Karbonn A30, Xolo X500 and more. If the OS isn’t a deal breaker for you, then you can also take a look at the Nokia Lumia 510, which runs on the Windows Phone OS.
