The Windows 7 Touch Pack has finally been released to the general public as a free download, and now anyone with a touch-screen display and a Windows 7 OS can enjoy it.
The 293MB download [here] includes bundled touch software, such as three Microsoft Surface applications (Globe, Collage, Lagoon) as well as three touch games (Rebound, Garden Pond, Blackboard). For more information about the above games and applications, check out this page.
A few caveats…Touch Pack support only extends to multi-touch screens, and not to single-touch ones. And those of you who use a multi-monitor setup will be unhappy to note that only your primary monitor will support the Touch Pack’s applications, and your secondary monitor will not. This is especially unhelpful for those who use a touch-screen display as their secondary monitor.
