Updated on 26-Aug-2025

Lenovo has just announced the Legion Gen 10 series gaming laptops in India today, consisting of the Legion Pro 7i, Legion Pro 5i, Legion 7i, and Legion 5i. Partnering with Intel and Nvidia, Lenovo showcased the upcoming lineup at an event in New Delhi. The brand says that while the Legion Pro laptops have been designed keeping competitive gamers who need immense power from their devices in mind, the Legion series is for the users looking to balance work and play.

Ashish Sikka, Director and Category Head, Lenovo India, said “Gaming is at its best when users feel completely in control. When their device responds instantly, visuals immerse them fully, and the system adapts seamlessly to every challenge. With our new Legion Gen 10 family, we’re raising the bar once again, showcasing powerful designs that blend AI-tuned performance, immersive OLED and high-refresh displays, and the bold Legion identity. These devices embody our belief that gamers should have the tools to truly ‘Reach Their Impossible’.”

Lenovo Legion Gen 10 laptops showcased in India

At the top of the newly-announced portfolio sits the Legion Pro 7i, powered by the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics featuring 24GB of VRAM. This makes it one of the most powerful gaming laptops available in India, capable of handling heavy gaming sessions and creative workloads with ease. Lenovo has also integrated its LA3 + LA1 AI chips to dynamically optimise system performance in real time, ensuring high frame rates and low latency even under extreme demands.

The line-up also includes the Legion 7i, Legion Pro 5i, and Legion 5i, which extend the same DNA of performance and versatility into more portable and affordable form factors. These models cater not just to gamers but also to content creators who rely on powerful hardware for tasks such as editing, rendering, and 3D design.

On the visual front, Lenovo showcased its PureSight OLED gaming displays. Available across the Gen 10 range, these panels support up to a 240Hz refresh rate, TrueBlack 1000 certification, and promise ultra-fast response times. Thus, users can expect lifelike colour reproduction and smooth motion whether in fast-paced shooters or cinematic open-world adventures.

Cooling has also been paid attention to. The new ColdFront Vapor HyperChamber system, Lenovo says, can handle up to 250W of power while keeping temperatures in check. Lenovo also claims the system not only helps maintain consistent performance but also reduces fan noise, allowing players to stay immersed without distraction. Despite these thermal upgrades, the laptops retain relatively slim profiles and a refined Legion aesthetic, balancing aggressive design with practical durability.
