The Legion 7a is Lenovo’s premium gaming statement for CES 2026. It is noticeably slimmer and lighter than before, yet it promises to not compromise on power. The laptop is powered by AMD’s new Ryzen AI 400 series processors paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-series Laptop GPUs, pushing up to 125W of total TDP. This makes it just as capable for high-FPS gaming as it is for streaming, coding, or heavy creative workloads.
One of the biggest highlights here is the 16-inch PureSight OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate and ultra-low response time, making fast-paced shooters look incredibly sharp. Lenovo’s Coldfront Hyper cooling system promises to keep thermals under control even during long gaming sessions, while AI tuning through Lenovo AI Engine+ handles performance and efficiency.
The Legion 5 series continues to be Lenovo’s most versatile gaming lineup, and the 2026 refresh sharpens that identity even further. The Legion 5i runs on Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, while the Legion 5a offers options with AMD Ryzen AI 400 series or Ryzen 200 series chips. Across the board, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-series Laptop GPUs are there to take care of graphics.
Both models feature a 15.3-inch OLED display with up to a 165Hz refresh rate, delivering rich colours and smooth motion. Lenovo’s Coldfront Hyper cooling remains a strong point, keeping fan noise in check during intense gameplay. These laptops are clearly designed for gamers who also edit videos, attend classes, or work on presentations without wanting a second machine.
For gamers just starting out, Lenovo is expanding its LOQ series with the LOQ 15AHP11 and LOQ 15IPH11. These laptops pair AMD Ryzen 200 series or Intel Core Ultra processors with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-series Laptop GPUs, making them capable enough for modern AAA games while still being practical for everyday use. It is worth mentioning that the LOQ series has received much love in India and has a lot of fans here.
The new LOQ models feature a 15.3-inch WQXGA display and Lenovo’s Hyperchamber cooling technology, which focuses on airflow efficiency and reduced fan noise.
