With our new Dell Pro 14 Essential and Pro 15 Essential laptops, we’re delivering affordable, business-friendly solutions designed to empower SMBs with security and simplified IT management. About Dell Pro 14 Essential and Dell Pro 15 Essential laptops

Both models are built around the idea of simplified IT management and long-term reliability — two pain points that smaller firms often face while scaling operations. Equipped with features such as cloud-based fleet management through the Dell Management Portal, integrated hardware encryption, and fingerprint security, the new Pro Essential series promises to make business computing more secure, connected, and cost-efficient.

Available in 14-inch and 15-inch variants, the new Dell Pro Essential laptops are aimed at professionals who work on the move. They balance a portable build with the practicality of a full-size keyboard and numeric keypad, something not always seen in this price segment. Users can choose configurations featuring either AMD or Intel processors, ensuring flexibility based on performance and budget needs.

The displays support resolutions up to 2.5K with a 16:10 aspect ratio, offering more vertical screen space for productivity apps and detailed visuals. The panels are tuned for clarity during presentations, video calls, or design tasks, making them well-suited for SMBs where teams collaborate remotely. For communication, Dell has included an HD webcam and digital microphone, helping maintain clear and natural interactions over platforms like Microsoft Teams or Zoom.

Under the hood, both laptops come equipped with Dell’s suite of business-focused management tools. Hardware-based TPM 2.0 encryption protects sensitive data, while a privacy shutter, lock slot, and optional fingerprint reader add extra layers of security. Support for Microsoft Autopilot allows zero-touch deployment – a feature that can dramatically reduce setup time for IT teams. The Excalibur OS Recovery Support ensures operations can be restored quickly in case of a system failure.

Beyond performance, Dell has focused on sustainability in the Pro Essential lineup. The Pro 14 Essential incorporates recycled aluminium and steel in its construction, earning EPEAT Silver Climate+ and ENERGY STAR certifications. The Pro 15 Essential uses up to 30% post-recycled plastic in the palm rest and 50% post-consumer recycled plastic in its bottom cover. Both machines ship in 100% recyclable packaging and are MIL-STD 810H tested to endure the everyday rigours of office life.

Pricing and availability

The Dell Pro 14 Essential and Dell Pro 15 Essential will be available in both AMD and Intel configurations, starting at a promotional price of ₹31,999 for business users. These laptops can be purchased through Dell’s authorised partners and resellers across India.
