Asus launches ProArt P16 laptop in India, price starts from Rs 3,59,990

Asus has expanded its creator-focused portfolio in India with the launch of the new ProArt P16, a high-end laptop designed for professionals who work with heavy visual, design and AI-led workflows. The company says the device is built for game designers, filmmakers, editors, visual artists, 3D modelers and anyone who needs desktop-class power in a portable machine. The ProArt P16 is powered by AMD’s latest Ryzen AI processors, supports up to Nvidia’s flagship RTX 5090 Laptop GPU and includes a 4K OLED display, creator-centric tools and next-gen connectivity options. Asus ProArt P16: Price and availability

The Asus ProArt P16 (H7606W) starts at Rs 3,59,990 in India. The laptop will be available through select Asus Exclusive Stores, Amazon and the official Asus e-shop.

The company is also bundling three months of Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps membership with the laptop, along with access to Asus’ own creator-focused software such as StoryCube, MuseTree and the ProArt Creator Hub. The P16 is positioned as a premium workstation-class laptop aimed at professionals who need strong GPU performance, colour accuracy and AI acceleration.

Asus ProArt P16 launched in India: Features and specifications

The ProArt P16 is built around AMD’s new Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, which includes a 50 TOPS NPU for on-device AI processes. Buyers can configure the laptop with up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU with 24GB GDDR7 VRAM, making it suitable for 4K and 8K editing, complex 3D scenes, AI-driven effects and heavy multi-application workloads.

The laptop features a 16-inch 4K (3840 x 2400) ASUS Lumina Pro OLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1600 nits HDR peak brightness. The panel is Pantone Validated, supports the full DCI-P3 colour gamut and is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certified. It also includes stylus support and reduces blue-light emissions for long sessions.

Asus has built the laptop with a creator-first ethos, adding tools like the Asus DialPad for granular control inside editing software and the ProArt Creator Hub for performance tuning and display calibration. The laptop supports Copilot+ PC features as well as Nvidia RTX AI tools, positioning the P16 as a fully AI-ready machine.

In terms of design and reliability, the ProArt P16 comes in an all-metal chassis tested to US military-grade durability standards. Connectivity options include USB4, another USB Type-C port with power delivery, two USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1 FRL, a 3.5 mm jack and a full-size SD Express 7.0 card reader. The laptop supports WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

In addition to this, the Asus ProArt P16 weighs 1.95 kg, houses a 90Wh battery, and ships with a 240W adapter. It also offers up to 64GB LPDDR5X RAM and 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, with an additional empty slot for expansion.
