Asus has just introduced the latest addition in its AI-powered laptops in India with the launch of the Vivobook S14 (M3407KA) and Vivobook 14 (M1407KA). These two slim, lightweight machines are built around AMD’s new Ryzen AI processors. Alongside these, the companyhas also refreshed the Vivobook 15 (X1504VA) and Vivobook 14 (X1407CA), adding sleeker designs, Intel processors, and a dash of colour to the range.
Arnold Su, Vice President of Consumer and Gaming PC, System Business Group at Asus India, talked about the brand’s vision at the launch, saying, “The launch of the Vivobook S14 and Vivobook 14 marks another milestone in ASUS’s journey to bring AI-driven innovation in India. These laptops deliver the ideal balance of smart productivity, all-day portability, and immersive visuals, making them the perfect companion for students, professionals, and creators. With Copilot+ and ASUS’s AI apps built-in, the Vivobook series is future-ready, designed to seamlessly adapt to the evolving ways we work, learn, and create.”
Both the Vivobook S14 and Vivobook 14 come with up to AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor, a chip equipped with a dedicated XDNA NPU promising to be capable of 50 TOPS. ASUS has also integrated its IceCool thermal technology along with configurable fan profiles through the MyASUS app.
Like other Copilot+ PCs, the new Vivobooks also come preloaded with Microsoft’s AI assistant and a growing set of AI-first features. Out of the box, users can access tools such as Windows Studio Effects for better video calls, Live Captions for real-time subtitles, and ASUS’s StoryCube app for content organisation and creativity. There is also a dedicated Copilot key for quick access to AI assistance.
Talking about design, portability remains at the core of the Vivobook range. The Vivobook S14 sports a premium sandwich metal chassis that measures just 1.59cm thick and weighs 1.4kg. The slightly more affordable Vivobook 14 keeps things equally portable at 1.46kg and 1.79cm thin.
Coming to the display, the Vivobook S14 packs a 14-inch OLED panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 95% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and an 86% screen-to-body ratio. It promises vibrant colours and deep contrast, making it especially appealing for content consumption and creative tasks.
Meanwhile, the Vivobook 14 sports a 14-inch FHD+ display which is TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light and flicker-free performance.
Battery life is another highlight of the newly-launched laptops. The Vivobook S14 comes with a 70Wh battery that ASUS claims can stretch to 23 hours on a single charge, while the Vivobook 14 features a 42Wh unit. Both support fast USB-C charging.
On the connectivity front, users get multiple USB-C and USB-A ports, HDMI, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3/5.4 options keep wireless connections stable.

ASUS has also refreshed the Vivobook 15. The laptop comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD display with a 60Hz refresh rate and 250 nits brightness. The laptop is also quite portable and weighs around 1.7kg.
The redesigned Vivobook 15 is powered by 13th Gen Intel Core processors, backed by 8GB RAM (expandable to 16 GB) and up to 512 GB SSD storage, promising easy handling of demanding applications.
With its AI enhancements, users can expect a smoother experience in productivity tools, conferencing, and multitasking. The Vivobook 15 also features the dedicated Copilot key for AI-assisted workflows. It comes in a Terra Cotta finish, adding a dash of colour to the lineup.
The price of the Asus Vivobook 14 starts at ₹69,990, while the Vivobook S14 carries a starting price tag of ₹ 75,990. Meanhwhile, the redesigned Vivobook 15 comes at a starting price of ₹70,990 and the refurbished Vivobook 14 costs ₹ 42,990.
