Apple has sent out invitations for an October 27 event with the tagline “Hello again”. The event scheduled to be held in Cupertino is expected to showcase the new MacBook refresh that has been awaited for quite sometime now. The Mac was introduced back in 1984 with the word “hello”, hence the invite for this event seems to be taking a cue from the past.

It is expected that Apple will finally launch the new MacBook Pro at this event. The refresh has been awaited for a while now, 2012 to be exact. Rumours suggest that the new MacBook Pro will sport an OLED Touch control bar, replacing the physical function keys. A new iMac, MacBook Air and a 5K Monitor is also expected to launch at the Apple event.

Apple will be live streaming the event at 10 AM PT or 10:30 PM IST on October 27. Stay tuned to Digit for complete coverage of all the announcements from the event.
