You can claim Tomb Raider 1, 2 and 3 remastered versions for free on the PS5 but there is a catch. You will need to be a PlayStation Plus member. If you already have a membership, congratulations! You won’t have to pay a single penny and can just head over to the PlayStation Store and claim the games. But, if you aren’t a PS Plus subscriber, you will first have to take the subscription.
The PlayStation Plus subscription comes in three tiers – Essential, Deluxe and Extra. The Essential tier here is the cheapest one with plans costing Rs 499 for 1 month, and Rs 1,199 and Rs 3,949 for 3 months and a year respectively.
If you do decide on getting the PS Plus Subscription, you’ll get access to hundreds of other games that are already in the catalogue. And there are new games being added every month.
Do remember that Tomb Raider older games will be available to claim for free between April 7 and May 4.
Apart from Tomb Raider, other games can be claimed during the aforementioned time period are Lords of the Fallen and Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream. While Lords of the Fallen is similar to Souls games (Elden Ring, Sekiro), Sword Art Online is a multiplayer co-op title set in the SAO universe.
