Rockstar Games was criticized for delaying the much-anticipated GTA 6 title to November. Earlier, the developer confirmed that it will be released in May for the consoles. While some fans already speculate that the GTA 6 release date is going to be delayed once again, new leaks suggest that the game is fully playable and the developers are fine-tuning it for the launch.
According to the reports citing insider and former Rockstar staff, the game is likely playable in its entirety. Additionally, the reports also state that the development is now fully locked, implying that there are no major new features that are being added as the team prepares for the final stages of release. However, just like every time, Rockstar Games has remained tight-lipped about the GTA 6 release.
After yet another delay, GTA 6 will be launching on November 19, 2026. However, it will be limited to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. However, the leaks suggest that it could debut for PC gamers in fall 2027. Do note that Rockstar Games has a history of delaying the game titles and it can happen again.
GTA 6, as per the teasers, hints at a “Bonnie and Clyde” style duo navigating the neon-soaked underworld of Vice City and the state of Leonida. The names of the characters are Lucia Caminos, the first female protagonist and Jason Duval.
The GTA 6 would need Windows 10/11 (64-bit). Under the hood, it should have Intel Core i5-9600K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and 16GB RAM. It should also need NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (8GB) or AMD Radeon RX 6600XT (8GB) along with 150GB SSD.
As per the reports, the GTA 6 is expected to be priced at around Rs 5,999 and Rs 8,999 for the standard edition. Again, the company has not confirmed it so far and we may have to wait for a few more months.
