The open-world game by Rockstar has already been subject to leaks, and the most recent leaks suggest that GTA 6 could be priced at over Rs 9,000 in India. For those who are unfamiliar, Rockstar Games teased the poster in December 2023 and released its first trailer, which hinted at new maps, the first female protagonist, sunsets, landscapes, and intriguing gameplay.

GTA 6 is expected to be priced around $100 (roughly Rs 9,000). If true, this could be the highest price ever paid for an open-world game. This follows Matthew Ball, an industry analyst, pointing out that Rockstar’s parent company, Take-Two Interactive, has previously raised prices. Given the price hikes, the game could be priced higher. However, it is unclear how much of a hike Rockstar will offer.

GTA 6 release timeline:

According to reports, the GTA 6 release is on schedule and could arrive in the second half of this year. This follows reports that Rockstar Games has been looking for talent for upcoming projects.

Furthermore, reports suggest that the game could debut in Q3 or Q4, putting it between July and December. However, the game’s creator has not confirmed an exact timeline or release date for GTA 6.

According to the teaser, GTA 6 will be set in Leonida, a location inspired by Florida’s diverse landscape. The game is also expected to include a Vice City-inspired map featuring urban environments, beaches, and backwaters. The company is also expected to introduce AI and improved driving mechanics. The game will be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. It will be released later for PC gamers.
