Call of Duty Black Ops 7 will be officially dropping in mid-November. The big reveal was made during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live, where Microsoft showed off a cinematic trailer of the upcoming Black Ops 7. The new game will arrive on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PS5 Slim, and PS5 Pro. However, it won’t be available on Nintendo’s upcoming Switch 2 at launch, despite Microsoft’s deal with Nintendo to bring CoD titles to its consoles.
Here’s everything from COD Black Ops 7 release date in India to price, storyline, upcoming weapons and more.
The Call of Duty Black Ops 7 stable version is all set to debut on November 14, 2025. It will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Slim, and PlayStation 5 Pro.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will have two editions: Regular Cross Gen and Vault. The COD BO7 Cross Gen Edition is available on the PS Store for pre-orders at Rs 5,999, while the COD Black Ops 8 Vault Edition can be pre-ordered from the store for Rs 8,249.
Black Ops 7 picks up 40 years after Black Ops 6 and follows David Mason, played by actor Milo Ventimiglia. This time, Mason and his squad are up against a shadowy enemy who thrives on fear and manipulation. Activision says the campaign will lean heavily into paranoia, espionage, and psychological mind games.

At launch, players will get access to 30 weapons, with a mix of brand-new firepower and returning classics like the Peacemaker MK1, M8A1, and PDW-57 (now rebranded as the PUMA SMG) from Black Ops 2. The Rampart AR from Black Ops 4 will also return under the name “Eagle,” while the VS Recon will be a modern spin on the iconic DSR-50. These weapons will also carry over to Warzone.
Apart from these, Black Ops 7 will also bring the most extensive Zombies map in franchise history, complete with a drivable Wonder Vehicle to move between sprawling zones. Classic Survival maps are making a return, and the Dead Ops Arcade is back for its fourth. Even better, alternate versions of fan-favourite characters Richtofen, Nikolai, Takeo, and Dempsey will also join forces with the Black Ops 6 crew.
