India plays host in BGMI International Cup 2025

For years, Indian players have competed in international Esports tournaments held abroad. But this time, the tournament has come to India. The BMIC 2025 features 16 teams representing three powerhouse nations – India, South Korea, and Japan – all battling it out for glory, bragging rights, and a chance to move up to the global stage.

Eight of India’s best teams made it through the BGMI Showdown qualifiers, including Orangutan, Team Soul, Gods Reign, True Rippers, and K9 Esports. They’ll be taking on established names like Dplus KIA, DRX, and Nongshim RedForce from South Korea, along with Japanese squads REJECT, CAG Osaka, and REIGNITE.

Timings and other details

Matches kick off every day at 1:30 PM IST, featuring maps like Erangel, Miramar, and Rondo. But the action isn’t limited to the arena. Fans across the world can tune in live, as BMIC 2025 is being streamed in English, Hindi, Korean, and Japanese – making it the first BGMI event to be broadcast in multiple languages.

According to Krafton India, the goal behind BMIC 2025 goes beyond competition. The company aims to turn India into a “global hub for Esports excellence,” and hosting an event of this scale is a clear move in that direction.
