Krafton India has officially introduced the BGMI 4.1 update for users all over India. This means the BGMI lovers can get their hands on a festive mix of global gameplay experiences and India-first elements. The massive patch brings an all-new winter-themed Frosty Funland mode, the return of the much-loved Metro Royale, and a uniquely Indian twist with Anamika, The Haunted Indian Bride, an exclusive horror-themed event designed specifically for Indian players. Here’s everything new about the BGMI 4.1 update, including its new Theme modes, features, and steps to download.

BGMI 4.1 update: What’s new

The most recent update introduces a Frosty Funland theme, which transforms Erangel into Penguinville, a snow-covered playground complete with adorable NPCs, interactive tasks, and themed events. Players can acquire Glacier Animal Marks, earn awards, and enlist POWNIN, a Mythical Ninja Penguin sidekick who fights, teleports, and even heals players in the middle of battle. New tactical gear, such as Magic Ice Skates, Winterland Kar-98K, and a Penguin Snowmobile, adds to the seasonal turmoil by combining strategy and light-hearted enjoyment.

The game has also added Anamika, The Haunted Indian Bride as non playable character which appears at different spots in Erangel, bringing an Indian horror vibe to the game. Players can defeat her to win gold-tier skins, upgradeable weapons, and voice packs from Indian creators. Anamika shows up between 9 PM and midnight IST in the HUB and stays active all the time in Erangel.

BGMI 4.1 Royale Pass

Metro Royale also makes a comeback, bringing a high-stakes extraction mode that combines PvE and PvP combat. The mode features new chapters, enhanced NPC systems, and improved rewards tied to player progression. Adding a touch of luxury, KRAFTON has also collaborated with Porsche to introduce a supercar in the Speed Drift mode, enhancing the driving experience.

How to download the BGMI 4.1 update

The BGMI 4.1 update is available now on both Android and iOS platforms. Players can download it from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, ensuring at least 3 GB of free space for installation.
