If there is one character in the Resident Evil franchise that receives the same amount of love as Leon S Kennedy, it is Ada Wong. The famous spy and assassin is much-loved by all RE universe fans and her chemistry with Leon S Kennedy is something that always gets people talking. And now, if reports are to be believed, we might just get more of those Leon-Ada moments. A leakster has claimed that Ada will be a part of Resident Evil Requiem DLC, which was confirmed recently by the game’s developers. If this turns out to be true, Leon and Ada fans would have another reason to pick up the game. Read on to know more.

Several outlets are reporting the return of Ada Wong in the Resident Evil franchise. And they are all crediting popular leakster DuskGolem. The leaker, who has a mixed but often reliable track record with Resident Evil information, says this detail came from a ‘public slip up’. Interestingly, the leaker chose not to reveal what exactly was leaked, noting that sharing it could ‘land someone in trouble’.
Even without concrete proof, this hint has been enough to spark conversation across the community. Ada Wong, as mentioned already, is one of the most popular characters in the series, and her absence in the base game has already been noticed by fans. Bringing her in through DLC would not only fill that gap but also create new narrative opportunities.
DuskGolem also previously mentioned hearing that the DLC could focus on Leon Kennedy. That rumour suggested a storyline possibly set around the events of Resident Evil 7 and Village. If both leaks turn out to be accurate, it could mean a deeper exploration of Leon’s timeline, with Ada playing a key role once again. And if you are an avid Resident Evil fan, you won’t be a stranger to the theories around Leon and Ada being married.
Resident Evil Requiem delves deep in the story of Grace Ashcroft, daughter of Alyssa Ashcroft who first appeared in Resident Evil Outbreak games. Alyssa was a journalist who was murdered at Wrenwood Hotel. In Requiem, Grace, a member of the FBI, is sent to the same hotel to solve a mystery. Coming to Leon S Kennedy, he is seen driving around a Porsche and hunting down the bad guys once again. His sequences are all about the action and less about the horror.
The game launched on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and Series X, and Nintendo Switch 2. It also sold millions of copies worldwide and became a success shortly after its launch.
