Samsung has confirmed its latest audio lineup that will be announced at CES 2026. This includes new soundbars and Wi-Fi speakers that promise smarter multi-device sound and deeper immersion across living rooms. The key launches will be the flagship Q990H soundbar, a new QS90H all-in-one model, and two Music Studio Wi-Fi speakers. And for buyers, the focus is clear: tighter TV integration, wider wireless setups, and more AI-driven sound tuning than before.
The Q990H soundbar comes with an 11.1.4-channel layout like its predecessor, the Q990F. Samsung introduces Sound Elevation on this soundbar, which lifts voices closer to the screen so dialogue sounds more natural. It also adds Auto Volume to keep sound levels consistent across movies, shows, and apps. The bar uses a compact design with built-in dual 8-inch subwoofers and relies on up-firing speakers and AI tuning to widen the soundstage and create a more cinematic effect.
The QS90H takes a different route, aiming for performance without extra boxes or cables. It is a 7.1.2-channel all-in-one bar with 13 drivers and a Quad Bass Woofer built in, so there is no need for a separate subwoofer. Its Convertible Fit design allows both wall and table placement, while a gyro sensor adjusts channel output depending on how the bar is positioned.

Samsung is also expanding its Music Studio range. The Music Studio 7 offers 3.1.1-channel spatial audio with top-firing drivers, uses Pattern Control Technology to reduce signal overlap, and supports Hi-Res audio up to 24-bit/96kHz. A dedicated super tweeter pushes frequencies up to 35kHz for added detail. It can work alone or pair with Samsung TVs through Q-Symphony to create a wider sound field.
The Music Studio 5 is the smaller, design-focused option. It uses a 4-inch woofer with dual tweeters and a built-in waveguide to deliver clear and balanced sound. AI-based bass control keeps low frequencies tight, while Wi-Fi casting, streaming services, Bluetooth and voice control make it suitable for multi-room and smart home setups.
The Music Studio lineup also positions Samsung more directly against lifestyle speakers from brands like Sonos, Bose, and Apple, but with tighter Samsung TV integration as the differentiator.
Samsung also mentioned its Sound Tower ST50F and ST40F models, positioned for outdoor and party listening, rounding out the broader audio ecosystem.
Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, says these sound devices are designed to deliver ‘a rich, expressive performance for any space and moment.’
If you are considering a premium soundbar or Wi-Fi speaker system in early 2026, it may be worth holding off until CES pricing and availability are announced. The pitch here is convenience, less clutter, and smarter tuning rather than raw hardware alone.
Samsung says the new products will be showcased at CES 2026 in Las Vegas from January 6 to 9.
