New renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 and Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro have surfaced online, offering the clearest look yet at Samsung’s next-generation wireless earbuds. The leak comes from AndroidHeadlines, which has shared detailed images of both models and their charging cases. The Galaxy Buds 4 series is aimed at the premium true wireless segment and is expected to compete directly with Apple’s AirPods lineup, with prices reportedly starting at €179 (about Rs 19,000). It is expected to launch alongside the Samsung Galaxy S26 series towards the end of February.
According to the leaked renders, Samsung is planning to refresh both the earbuds and the charging case design. The Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro appear to share the same overall design language, with short stems and horizontally placed earbuds inside the case.
The key distinction between the two models lies in the ear tip design. The Galaxy Buds 4 use an open-fit design without silicone tips, similar to Apple’s standard AirPods. The Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, on the other hand, include silicone ear tips, which should provide a better seal and improved passive noise isolation.
Both models feature visible microphone cut-outs along the stem and the upper portion of the earbuds, suggesting a focus on call quality and active noise cancellation, especially on the Pro variant.
Another visible change from their predecessors is the charging case. Samsung seems to be moving to a rectangular form factor with a transparent lid, making the earbuds visible even when the case is closed. The Samsung logo is placed on the front, while the internal colour of the case matches the earbuds. In the leaked images, the Galaxy Buds 4 appear in black with a darker-toned base, while the Buds 4 Pro are shown in white.

Previous rumours suggest the Galaxy Buds 4 could feature a 42mAh battery per earbud, while the Buds 4 Pro may go up to 57mAh.
There have also been reports that Samsung may introduce new gesture controls, including a pinch-and-hold action to trigger Interpreter Mode, which would tie into Galaxy AI features on compatible Samsung smartphones.
From a positioning perspective, the Galaxy Buds 4 are clearly targeted at users who prefer a lighter, less intrusive fit, while the Buds 4 Pro is designed for those who prioritise noise cancellation and a more secure in-ear seal. This mirrors the strategy Apple follows with the AirPods and AirPods Pro.
The Galaxy Buds 4 are tipped to be priced at around €179 (~Rs 19,000), while the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro could launch at approximately €249 (~Rs 26,500).
If you are planning to buy premium true wireless earbuds and already use a Samsung phone, waiting for the Galaxy Buds 4 series could make sense. The new case design, clearer product segmentation, and expected Galaxy AI integrations suggest a noticeable update over the current generation. However, only after launch can we be sure about how they look and sound in the real world.
We should be getting more details in the weeks leading up to the launch. Keep reading Digit.in for similar stories.
