Bose has quietly released the QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen) in India via Amazon. This is the company’s latest premium over-ear wireless headphones aimed at users who prioritise noise cancellation and comfort for long listening sessions. It originally debuted globally in September 2025 and is now finally available in our country. Here are all the details you need to know about these Bose ANC headphones.
From the Amazon listing, we gather that the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Gen 2 is available for Rs 49,900 in India. You can pick it in black, desert gold, driftwood sand, midnight violet, and white smoke colours.
Design-wise, the QC Ultra Gen 2 uses a mix of plastic, aluminium, and protein leather for the build of the headphones. The angled earcups have cushions, and the headband is also padded. The hinge is foldable, which should help in its portability. Speaking of which, it weighs around 262 grams.
These sport adjustable Active Noise Cancelling (ANC), Transparency Mode and a wind block feature. For audio, they have a dynamic driver setup, spatial audio, a Cinema Mode, and lossless USB audio. The headphones also come with 3.5 mm to 2.5 mm cable wired audio.
Bose QuietComfort Ultra Gen 2 claims up to 30 hours of playback without ANC, and with that, expect around 23 hours. To charge it fully, the rated time is 3 hours.
For connectivity, you get Bluetooth 5.4 and multi-point.
In India, we will lock horns with the Sony WH-1000XM series, Sennheiser Momentum series, and JBL Tour One M series.
Bose seems to be positioning this model around comfort and noise cancellation rather than a feature-heavy offering. We will have to test to know if it would makes sense for users who value a consistent, reliable listening experience.
