BenQ has launched the Mobiuz EX271QZ gaming monitor in India. It comes with a 27-inch screen, a 500Hz refresh rate, and QHD resolution. It is targeted at competitive gamers and high-end PC users who want both speed and visual fidelity. The underlying screen technology is a QD-OLED, which means you can expect good colours, contrast and deep blacks, etc.
The BenQ Mobiuz EX271QZ is priced at Rs 84,998 in India. It is available from April 25, 2026, through leading online platforms and authorised retail stores nationwide.
As already mentioned, the EX271QZ uses a 27-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) QD-OLED panel. The gamers will love to hear that it features a 500Hz refresh rate paired with a 0.03ms response time. This should result in motion clarity and good input response times. To address OLED burn-in concerns, BenQ includes protection features such as pixel refresh, pixel shift, logo dimming, idle dimmer, and graphene-based cooling. These operate automatically to extend panel life.
On the other hand, the colour nerds amongst you would appreciate the monitor’s support for VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500, 99% DCI-P3 colour coverage, and up to 1000 nits peak brightness. This can be enjoyed in games and HDR content consumption, and could be useful in basic creative work, too.
On the software side, BenQ introduces Game Art Colour Profiles, which replace standard presets with modes like genre-based presets like Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Realistic. These aim to match the artistic tone of games rather than simply boosting contrast or saturation. Alongside this, Spectral Colour Refinement adjusts colours across the full spectrum instead of isolated points, which should result in more balanced tones and fewer exaggerated colours.
The monitor also includes High Pixel Contrast, an AI-driven feature that dynamically adjusts contrast to improve visibility in darker scenes without overexposing highlights. This is particularly relevant for modern AAA titles where shadow detail can impact gameplay.
The connectivity options include HDMI 2.1 with eARC support, enabling compatibility with current-gen consoles and multi-channel audio formats like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.
The stand is designed to accommodate soundbars, indicating a focus on full entertainment setups.
Overall, it is exciting to see BenQ trying to combine gaming performance with visual quality in a single monitor.
