BenQ EW270Q 27-inch QHD 200Hz gaming monitor launched in India: Price, availability

Updated on 17-Jan-2026

BenQ has launched the EW270Q gaming monitor in India, expanding its gaming lineup with a 27-inch QHD display aimed at competitive gamers and hybrid users. The key highlight is its combination of a 200Hz refresh rate and 65W USB-C power delivery. Additionally, it also boasts 90% DCI-P3 colour coverage, which should suit casual content creation and media consumption.

Price and availability

The BenQ EW270Q is available across major online and offline retail channels in India at Rs 17,990. It comes with a 3-year onsite warranty.

Specifications and features

The EW270Q sports a 27-inch IPS panel with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440. This resolution should be sharp enough for most users. It offers a visual boost over 1080P panels, and mid-range GPUs should be able to drive high frame rates better on this than on a 4K panel. The panel also features a 200Hz refresh rate, combined with a 1ms response time and AMD FreeSync Premium support, which is designed to reduce motion blur, screen tearing, and stutter in fast-paced titles such as FPS and racing games.

BenQ includes its Game Colour Mode, Colour Vibrance, and Light Tuner features, which allow users to adjust contrast and colour saturation to improve visibility in darker scenes. As mentioned already, with 90% DCI-P3 colour coverage, the monitor is also suited for casual content creation, video streaming, and general media consumption.

Connectivity is a major focus with options like HDMI and USB-C port (with DisplayPort support) for display, data, and up to 65W power delivery. This allows compatible laptops to be connected and charged using a single cable, making the EW270Q practical for users who switch between gaming PCs and work laptops. That said, 65W may not be sufficient for high-performance laptops under heavy load.

Audio is handled by dual 5W built-in speakers.

It features a white chassis design, which is a departure from typical gaming aesthetics, making it a better fit for home office environments.

BenQ has slotted this in a market which includes similarly-specced gaming monitors like LG UltraGear 27GR75Q-B, Samsung Odyssey G5, Acer Nitro XV272U, and Lenovo Legion R27qe. Real-world tests will determine how well it performs and whether the USB-C charging and aesthetic choices by BenQ make sense.
