Oppo is the title sponsor, powering the event with their K13 Turbo Pro smartphone

Digit wrapped up the year with the Digit Zero1 Awards, its annual celebration of the best tech of 2025. SKOAR! returned to the event with a booth that gave visitors a first look at what’s coming next for college gaming in Delhi NCR – the launch of the SKOAR! College Cup; Delhi Edition.

The booth drew steady attention throughout the event. Visitors stopped by to play short BGMI sessions on the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro, the phone powering the experience zone. The smooth 120 Hz screen and long-lasting 7000 mAh battery gave players a clear idea of how the device performs under pressure. For many students, it was their first time trying the phone, and it set the tone for the level of gameplay they can expect during the tournament.

The SKOAR! College Cup: Delhi Edition

Last year, SKOAR! ran the SKOAR! College Championship, which saw strong participation from colleges across India. This year, SKOAR! is scaling up in a focused way with its first-ever College Cup, bringing together 200 colleges across Delhi NCR. Students will compete in BGMI and Valorant, making this the largest esports tournament in Delhi.

The scale is clear: 2,000+ teams, 14,400+ gamers, and a ₹30 lakh worth prize pool. For students, this becomes a rare chance to experience a tournament built from the ground up for them – big qualifiers, structured brackets, and a finale that feels like a true esports stage. The grand finals in February 2026 will bring the top teams together for a high-energy LAN event.

SKOAR! also announced its partners for the tournament. The College Cup is powered by Oppo, with SanDisk as the storage partner. Both brands strengthen the event and help SKOAR! raise the overall standard of the competition.

Oppo takes the lead

At Zero1, Oppo was officially revealed as the title sponsor of the SKOAR! College Cup. For SKOAR!, this partnership is more than branding – it’s a strategic step toward delivering a better gameplay experience for students. The K-series has already built a reputation among young gamers, and having Oppo involved adds weight to the format we’re building.

At the booth, the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro became a natural conversation starter. Students talked about how the device held up during BGMI sessions, and many stayed longer than planned just to squeeze in a few extra rounds. The response made it clear that the phone struck the right balance of speed and reliability. For SKOAR!, partnering with a brand that builds hardware tuned for gaming strengthens the experience we want to deliver throughout the College Cup.

Adding to the excitement, Goldee Patnik, Head of Brand & PR Communication at Oppo India, graced the event and addressed the audience. He spoke about Oppo’s journey, its commitment to making cutting-edge technology accessible to the youth, and the brand’s focus on empowering a fearless generation eager to explore innovation. He also highlighted Oppo’s long-standing association with Digit and SKOAR!, expressing the brand’s enthusiasm and satisfaction with this partnership.

Looking ahead

Zero1 served as the ideal stage to introduce the College Cup to students and partners. With a bigger format, stronger backing, and a clear focus on Delhi NCR’s campuses, the 2025–26 season is shaping up to be one of SKOAR!’s most exciting years yet.
