If there’s one event that succeeds in making every grown-up feel like a child, it is Comic Con. The event, held every year in Delhi, feels like stepping into a parallel universe where reality softens and fandom takes over. You look around and see people dressed as every character you have ever loved, and even some that you do not even recognise. It is chaotic, warm, slightly overwhelming and strangely comforting. In the middle of all that noise, the PlayStation 5 booth sits as one of the louder attractions at Comic Con Delhi this year. The booth blends gaming, retail and competitive energy in a way that keeps people drifting toward it. Let’s take a closer look.

The first thing you notice when you enter the PlayStation booth is the constant shuffle of people trying their luck at the latest PS5 games. Sony has set up multiple PS5 consoles and there is something very real about testing a console in a space like this where the excitement around you is impossible to ignore. It is not a sterile store demo. It is more like a live pressure test with strangers cheering, commenting, giving unsolicited tips or simply staring at your screen. Somehow that makes the experience a little more fun.
Then there are the contests. Every few minutes, there are winners being announced for getting answers right in a small quiz. Visitors can participate and stand a chance to win PS5 merchandise which adds a playful tension to the area.
If you have been thinking to buy a PS5, or want to pickup the recently-launched Ghost of Yotei faceplates and controller for your home setup, there’s good news. PlayStation’s retail partner DT Zone is selling all of these at the PlayStation booth. What’s more? You can even avail certain special discounts while buying these products.
For instance, some controllers are getting a 10% cut and several PS5 games are going up to 50% woff. There is also an exclusive discount on the PS5 for visitors which is drawing a mix of curious buyers and people who have been on the fence for a while. It is not a festival of deals, but there are genuinely good price drops if you know what you are looking for.
The PlayStation India Cup is set for December 6 and 7 and the action will happen right at the PlayStation booth. Across the two day finale, one player will emerge as the PlayStation India Cup 2025 Champion and take home the ₹4,00,000 prize pool.
The 2025 edition marks the fourth year of the PlayStation India Cup, run in partnership with NODWIN Gaming. What started as a niche competition for EA FC loyalists is now a regular fixture at Delhi Comic Con, drawing many visitors who pack themselves around the Gaming Arena to watch the last matches unfold in real time.
