Xiaomi has confirmed that its Redmi Smart band Pro and Redmi Note 11s series phones will launch in India on February 9, 2022. Both of these devices have been introduced in other markets, but the variants coming to India might have slightly different specifications.
The Redmi Smart Band Pro was introduced in China late last year, so we have a fairly good idea of what’s on offer. The teaser image confirms a few key features including an SPO2 tracker, heart rate sensor, and an Always-on display mode.
The variant launched in China includes a 1.47-inch rectangular colour OLED display. The panel has 194 x 368-pixel resolution and can get up to 450 nits bright. The fitness band makes room for a 200mAh battery that is claimed to last for up to 14 days of regular usage and up to 20 days on power saver mode.
It’s also water-resistant and has the option to track 14 different water fitness modes.
Out of four Redmi Note 11 series phones that were recently launched for global markets, two are expected to launch in India on February 9. Xiaomi has confirmed that one of these will be the Redmi Note 11s and the second could be a rebranded Redmi Note 11.
In India, the Redmi Note 11s is expected to include a 108MP primary camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP depth sensor. The phone is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Helio G96 chipset and will be available in three different storage and RAM variants starting with a 6+64GB model as the base option.
Other expected features include a 90 Hz, 6.43-inch FHD+ (1080×2400 pixels) AMOLED display, 16MP selfie camera, 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, stereo speakers, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
