YU Televentures is an Indian consumer electronics brand founded on 18 December, 2014 as a joint venture of Cyanogen Inc. and Micromax Informatics Limited. YU holds official Cyanogen OS rights in India and Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma owns 99.9% of the stake in YU. The first mobile under this brand 'YU' running on Cyanogen OS was named 'YUreka', which although being a cheap mobile phone, got a good response because of high specifications. Apart from Smartphones, other accersories that have launched under the brand YU are YUFit- a fitness tracking band, YUPix- a portable mobile printer, jYUice- a powerbank and HealthYU- a pocket health tracker.
