sitll working after one year industrial heavy duty use
The band in itself is awesome.. but the important part is the Lenovo Smart Band app that is to be integrated with the band to track the fitness regime. The app is not that good.. too many problems!! Lenovo has delivered one of the best bands in time but losing the value because of the useless app. As the app is a part of the band, I would not rate it 5 stars.
Bluetooth range of phone to watch is very less, And continuosly it gets disconnected.. Otherwise good product..

Pros: *Watch like strap (subject to preference) *Comfortable to wear *Accurate Heart Rate monitor *Automatic Heart Rate monitoring every 15 mins *Basic Notifications like whatsapp, facebook, sms, call and other popular apps available (refer cons for more info) *Sleep monitoring (refer cons for more info) *Syncing is fast *Alarms can be set (2) *Long Battery life *Micro-USB port for charging under rubber flap (hence not water proof) *Run mode which monitors Heart Rate continuously. I haven't explored it yet. But It is expected to use more battery than general use. Cons: *Disconnects after some time, hence u cant see notifications most of the times. *Afternoon sleeps are not recorded as sleep and also sleep after waking up in early morning at around 6:30 to 7am and then going back to sleep is not recorded as sleep. *Not Water Proof but water resistant. Battery Stats: ( 1A Charger used ) As Unboxed : 87% remaining Time spent 11 Days (10 Days 22 Hrs) : 2% remaining Charged from 2% to 50% : 18 Mins Charged from 2% to 99% : 1 Hr 15 Mins (50% to 99% : 57 Mins) Charged from 2% to 100% : 2 Hrs 30 Mins (until i see 100% battery remaining in app) so basically 1 Hr 20 Mins to Full Charge (0 to 99%) Overall opinion: Absolutely best fit for fitness purpose and alarm but not at all recommended for notifications.
First of all thanks to Lenovo for such a great priced product with high quality feature... 1. Light weight on wrist 2. Nice tracking of sleep and steps 3.soft strap finish.. 4. Overall consistent readings with propor alert.. Only thing disadvantageous is battery Is a little bit draining fast..but not much.. Wrist time display is a bit unresponsive..sometimes.. Connection is very easy..to make..

You might face problem while connecting your band. Solution 1. Switch on bluetooth and GPS 2. Give all the permission to the app. Every time while synchronizing your data, GPS must be switched on along with bluetooth. Overall very good band with stylish look.. Battery is however draining fastly.. Update- Now I get to know that there is no battery draining. Everything measured in this band is correct leaving the distance tracking.
Amazing band works like a charm with IOS battery backup is 2 weeks almost unless you play with it daily too much flaunting its features. Sleep tracking is good. Pulse calculation is accurate. Not able to understand how the calory burning feature calculated energy burned. updated after 2 yrs of usage : the band strap has cracked and there is no way to replace it as it is glued.
