The ASUS ROG products exhibition booth at Computex 2013 was choc-a-block with drool-worthy products, exploded view of some products, custom mods and so on. But what caught our eye was a Cooler Master chassis which had a display panel in the front. The display, called the Front Base prototype, is an LCD display which comes with three buttons and a rotary dial to tweak settings such as fan speeds, CPU clock, monitor temperatures and so on. This is currently being tested at ASUS and no details are yet out on retail availability. We also took a look at the OC Panel, which is being bundled along with the Maximus VI Extreme board, and its capability of being used in different use cases. The OC panel allows you to monitor voltages, temperatures and fan speeds as well as do on-the-fly overclocking.
