Pathetic experience from Shinco. Picture quality is not upto the mark. Overall below average picture quality. But the biggest disappointment is that the viewing angle is not as mentioned in the product discription. A slight change in viewing angle will make the picture blur, dark and bad quality. It's just like lcd tv where you have to see from straight distance. In this case also shinco led TV is behaving like lcd TV which cannot be viewed from different angles. Pathetic picture quality even for this price.
I liked the quick followup from Shinco team on immediate installation and then followup to check if things are working fine. Been a week, till now everything looks great. Picture quality, sound, smart functions...Thank You. Been just more than a month and I have to change my review. This is not what I expected with the such wonderful comments I reviewed earlier. My TV started acting really weird, getting stuck on screen every now and then and not moving at all. Have to unplug and then only it is getting restarted. Today while the pic got stuck even it started making dramatic noise. I was worried if this would blast or something. Have raised a ticket today as CS were closed. Will keep you posted about the next update. Thanks. Been 3 days that I have submitted repair request, however apart from a call from the CS team no technician visited my place. I am being a bit more patient, before I take it up to consumer forum and social media to show the real picture.
Techibeez has fooled us.Let me start by saying that This is NOT a smart Tv.Also u need to purchase wall mount swivel worth Rs 2k from the executive. Cons:-No Bluetooth connectivity,TV hangs many times and is slow and sluggish,No Google Play Store,No OTA updates,SD channels upscaling isn't good. Pros:- With Good connectivity,u can watch online channels in High resolution which will look good Sound is loud and good but difference will be felt when you connect an ext speaker. The main problem is launcher and other apps keeps on crashing.. Sometimes glitches were heard during playback Not recommended
Avoid this TV, In case of faulty product you will not get any support nor you would be able to replace it or get your refund even in period of ten days replacement period.update - Finally Amazon had convinced about the problem that I faced and accepted the return. Thanks to Amazon and I appreciate their concern about their end users.
MY APOLOGIES. MEA CULPA. Earlier I put an initial review suspecting inferior quality of the panel and issues with upscaling. Yesterday I received my HDMI 2.0 cable and the story is totally different now. I bought this TV after watching many youtube reviews about ShincoDaiwa 4K TVs in youtube Channels. As I mentioned in my earlier comment, I had an old HDMI cable that did not support 4K and HDR. Hence I had not connected my Xbox One S. All experiments were done on TVs inbuilt apps. The inbuilt apps cannot utilize the actual capability of the panel. But, after I connected my Xbox, the experience is HEAVENLY. Trust me, I used to visit Croma and brand showrooms to get that feeling from 65 inch TVs of LG OLED and Samsung QLED. Rest all TVs including Iffalcon, MiTV, Hittachi, Vu etc. which I tested felt very inferior after watching above 2 TVs. But the moment you connect Shinco 65 inch to a modern gaming console or powerful android TV box, let me assure you, it is unbelievable clarity. For just 50K, I can't believe the quality of panel I see. Youtube 4K HDR Videos are being played with mind blowing clarity with no lag, frame loss or whatsoever. I have an ACT Internet connection running at 150mbps. I took 4K pack of Netflix 800 Rs. to test and it too is amazing. Amazon Prime is great, but it does not have much 4K content other than Jack Ryan. The Shinco 65 inch TV plays Xbox games with great clarity and no lag. Xbox One S has Dolby Atmos Headphone function. The visual clarity and sound clarity will make you a couch potato. I bought a 4K HDR Atmos Bluray disc to test the quality They are very costly. Had to spend 2600 for just one movie - "Black Panther", even during FlipkartAmazon sale. Currently only Xbox One S and Xbox One X are the only players that can play such a disk. But, let me tell you, your eyes will bleed seeing its clarity. Neither streaming 4K, nor dowloaded 4K files can match the video quality of a UHD Bluray Disc. Even though people say this TV doesn't have enough brightness level 450 nits to show full level HDR, I never felt so. Xbox has a setting to inspect your TVs capability to play different types of contents. After inspection, Xbox says that the TV hardware is capable to play true 4K HDR at 60 FPS. And a TV with very high brightness level Except OLED will consume power like an iron box. And another amazing thing is that the TV takes WiFi display from MacBook through Eshare!!. Screen casting from Android, IOS and windows is quite common. But MacBook streaming is not so easy. Usually people have to buy Apple TV to screencast MacBook. But this TV amazingly takes screen cast from any phones or laptops. A few days back I said I was disappointed with the TV. I was thinking of returning the TV and later buying TCL 65X4 QLED TV Even though I have not seen that TV till date. But, now I am super thrilled to own this TV. The Xbox also has an amazing tool to calibrate your TV to its best display settings. After doing the same even Airtel HD STB quality has increased tremendously. Also, may be now my eyes might have got adjusted to the change from 43" IPS to 65" VA panel. But, still I am thinking of changing from Airtel to Tata HD or 4K STB. NEGATIVES. 1. Pathetic installation service by Shinco & Amazon's partner "247 around". I waited for 3 days with no response and got it wall mounted by local technicians near my house. 2. Very low internal processor and RAM. Using the TV without a powerful android box or gaming console will not give a great performance. If you watch inbuilt youtube app at 4K resolution, the TV will hang and you have to restart. 3. Even though the soundbar is clear and powerful, it lacks bass. Wish the brand provided an external subwoofer. 4. All the connectivity ports are located in inconvenient positions. Once wall mounted, you will struggle to access them. 5. Only 2 USB ports. One is taken by remote's dongle and the other by Sensy. Need to buy a USB Hub to manage more devices. 6. Even though the Sensy app is working. It is not very effective. It can't totally replace your STB remote. 7. Consumes 3 times the power of a 43 inch TV. But, then it is applicable to any TV of this size except OLED. 8. 55&49 inch Shinco TVs come with an additional SD card slot, which is missing in this 65". Over all I would recommend this TV to anyone who cannot afford LG OLEDSamsung QLED. Do not waste money on Iffalcon, MarQ or Vu. Instead, buy this TV and invest on an Xbox One S Rs.18k or a powerful android box Rs.5k with the saved budget and live your dream.
If you allow me to give minus rating then i will do. 1. Wifi connection problem. 2. Mirror cast connection problem 3. HDMI even not connected Returned it single day. Guys please don't trust this new company to save few bucks. I got it in just 11500 rs on sale. Now i purchased MI 4A Pro that is amazing experience.
all featres is ok buut only ram is low big screen with good display quality watching this tv fromlast 3 months
Best affordable television!! Pros: 1 Slim design and Bezels maintained as much as possible to the edge, weighs light. 2 Multiple ports including Ethernet, HDMI, USB, wifi, Built in chrome cast, Always connected to my broadband. 3 Audio quality is good with , UI is great and it's fast as well. 4 TV quality is good, if you have HD DTH that would be great, no problem with viewing angles. 5 Smart TV UI has various customization options, I also installed some apps that provide Free shows, movies, like Hotstar, Jio TV, Jio cinema, Movies HD. Some of these have many inventory of free HD movies and shows and ofcourse YouTube. Also you can update apps to get the latest changes. Really worth it. 6 TV stand that came with it is strong and strudy, still I mounted it on wall. Overall I don't think why no one will buy this for such a steal! At such an affordable price and from a brand like Shinco, everyone must try this television.
First of all, I want to make it clear, I’m not trying to put down this TV. I still happy to have it. For me It worth its price, because I bought Mi Box TV. I’m using this TV 3 weeks. It has problems as a SMART-TV big or small you can decide by yourself -. After power lost, it forgets about wi-fi network selection. Every time you have to switch it form wire connection which is default in settings. Netflix show only SD – it’s like a pain. If you try to update Netflix it asks to do so – it stop working and you have to install previous version. You can’t setup user picture settings if you watching digital content like Youtube, Netflix, Amazon or USB-Stick. User settings works only for external HDMI, Coaxial ports. For me default sharpening is too much, brightness is to dark, aggressive dynamic contrast is on, and you can do nothing with it in the main mode of this SMART-TV. There is no local network in built in media player which can play 4K-videos smooth without fame skipping. I installed VLC player, which has network, but it skips frames on good HD and especially 4K videos even from usb-stick. So, by now you can’t see 4K content by LAN without frame skipping. There is no Google Play store. Just two unofficial stores with tiny fraction of apps, which is not always working as expected. There are no other languages in screen keyboard. Google Keyboard GBoard is not working – crash on start. So, you can’t find for example music or video in other languages. There is a frame drops on Youtube on good quality 4K videos you can see it without any measure and also by debug statistic. Remote works with interruptions. In hardware keyboard Enter-key is not working as intended. Instead it prints some symbol. The keys of keyboard are sticky too often. So, you priiiinttttingg like thhhis. The interface has lags. The backlight is not very uniform. In the corners it’s darker see the photos. You cannot regulate volume of the SP-DIF sound from TV-remote. The internal sound from TV is continue to play with delay if you use external sound, so you should put it on zero-volume. If you like VA-kind of panels, I recommend to use this TV as video-panel. You can buy MI TV-box or Fire Stick. Cheap and best! My experience with delivery it’s a particular story, it was not good. First time I received TV with huge crack on it. Looks like somebody try to pull TV up from box by pushing to the panel. Second time I receives already opened box with mess inside and already used TV. It was not all packing boxes inside, no bolts for table stand, screws are in wall stucco, no dowels. I bought bolts for table stand by myself, because I didn’t want to wait another month for one more exchange. Update: It drops the "dynamic contrast" user setting for HDMI port each time after each power up. It always turns on however settings show as "off", and you have to switch onoff to really turn it off -- annoying.
Received TV on 25th October. Hence giving review after 1 month of extensive use Best thing - It's a 4K HDR TV which is above 4K UHD. 1 Picture Quality is awesome. Awesome experience with Netflix,Amazon prime etc. 2 Sound Quality is Fantastic. No need to buy external speakers. Even sound volume at 20 is loud enough what to speak when increased to 50-60. 3 The TV comes with Netflix, Amazon, Hotstar and it do works but I prefered to buy and watch on Amazon Fire Stick. 4 Only drawback is it comes with Miracast hence not all mobile phones support it. Mine is Motorola G5s plus. 5 HDMI to Laptop works awesome. USB ports are fast and can run most of the video files. But overall it's still 55. You won't regret. With this price you won't get HDR 10 TV. Adding experience after 4 months of extensive use.04032019 No issue with TV. Loving the choice. No regrets. Happy to own Shinco which is very reasonable at the price I bought. Colours are very Rich. Enjoy watching UHD, HD videos on Netflix, Amazon prime, Hotstar.
