Overview
Nokia has officially launched its first Android smart TV, called the Nokia TV 55-inch UHD (4K) LED SMART ANDROID TV (55CAUHDN). The smart TV under the Nokia brand is powered by the Android 9.0 TV operating system and comes with JBL audio technology. The TV packs 24-Watt speakers, DTS Surround sound, Dolby Audio and has a quad-core processor with 16 GB of onboard storage. The Nokia TV is available on e-commerce giant Flipkart starting at Rs 41,999.
The Nokia TV 55-Inch UHD 4K LED smartphone Android TV will on go sale on December 10 on Flipkart. Nokia Smart TV buyers will get a stand as well as a wall mount and a Bluetooth remote that supports Google Assistant for voice input along with the TV.
Design
The Nokia branded smart TV has a 55-inch 4K UHD screen with 400 nit’s maximum brightness. The TV comes with Dolby Vision support, MEMC, and Intelligent Dimming feature. It has a contrast ratio of 1200:1 and 178-degree viewing angle. Video features included in the TV are Vivid, Standard, User, Sports, and Game modes.
Remote control features on the Nokia TV are Voice control, Google Assistant, hotkeys for YouTube, Netflix, and Google Play. Other Audio features included in the Nokia TV are 5 Band Equalizer and an Auto Volume Leveller. The Sound modes available to users are Standard, Music, Sports, and Movie. The TV has DTS TruSurround Sound which creates a 5.1 channel surround sound output according to the company.
Connectivity
The Nokia 55-inch 4K Smart TV packs 2.25 GB of RAM, with 16 GB of onboard storage. It has three HDMI ports, two USB (2.0 and 3.0) ports, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity so you can connect multiple devices with your TV. The power requirements for the device are 100~240 VAV, 50/60 Hz. The power consumption of the device is 150 W and 0.5 W on standby.
In the box users will get a Nokia 55-inch UHD 4K Android TV with Sound by JBL, 1 user manual, 1 base stand and screws, 1 wall mount stand and screws, 1 remote control, 1 power cord, and 2x AAA batteries.
Operating system
The Nokia TV runs on the Android 9 TV platform and supports the Google Play Store. Users get access to thousands of apps from the Google play store on their Smart TV. The Nokia TV is powered by a quad-core processor. It comes with built-in Chromecast.
Other internet features included in the device are an ethernet port, Android 9.0, Play Store, Google Assistant, Chromecast, and YouTube.
Flipkart revealed during the launch event that more Nokia branded smart TV models will be launched in the future, however, the e-commerce retailer did not share any specifics. the e-retailer also revealed that Jeeves will be handling the after-sales service for the Nokia Smart TVs in India.

This 55" 4K Nokia TV at this price point comes with almost everything we expect from a TV in today's time. Here are a few Pros and Cons, according to what I experienced:- Pros: 1) Great quality display (Thin Bezels): The presence of almost no to very thin bezels changes the whole experience of viewing. I played high resolution wildlife videos on YouTube and was amazed to see the details and colours. 2) Sound by JBL (front firing speakers): I could experience clear vocal tones in dialogues as well as deep bass in every music beat. The sound tuning is really as per JBL standards. 3) Remote: Comes with Google Assistant button as well as dedicated buttons for Netflix and YouTube for an easy experience. 4) Android 9.0 (with future updates): makes sure it won't go obsolete in near future and opens up a world of apps, available on the Google Play Store for direct download. 5) At this price the TV is really a full package. Cons: Only 1 screen-size available for now. Nokia should launch this TV in more screen sizes, i.e. 32", 40", etc.
This might seem to be awkward, but this is the first LED TV at our home. Before this we had Flat TV. Naturally it's really amazing for us, specially for my family(and also surprisingly big in size
excellent picture quality and sound, looks premium, only thing is if you want better output you should have HD channels or watch programs in hd or 4k. sound is amazing.

Flipcart delivered the Product in less than 24 hrs... Really amazed by their quick delivery... Now the next surprise comes with installation.. Received message that installation will be in next 2 days, however got a call on the same day and installation was done with perfection. Now if we talk about TV its not a sleek TV if I compare with my existing LG led. Picture quality is OK. Sound is good with JBL speakers. So overall value of money in this price range. Detailed TV reviews will post later once use it for sometime.
