The LG G5 is perhaps the only flagship smartphone in 2016 that includes the IR Blaster. The G5 is also the first modular smartphone in the market, and it runs on a Snapdragon 820 SoC, along with Android Marshmallow, and a really good 16MP primary camera, accompanied by an 8MP wide angle camera.
The dual camera phone from honor features IR blaster along a list of other things. It has a good looking glass and metal exterior, a bright display and a decent battery life. Performance of the device is still lower compared to other flagship phones, especially the OnePlus 3.
The LeEco Le Max 2 is much cheaper than the LG G5, but just as powerful. It doesn’t have as good a camera, but the price more than makes up for it. Not only does this phone have an IR Blaster, it also has its own content packages to stream on your television.
Xiaomi’s Mi 5 was the first Snapdragon 820-powered smartphone in the Indian market. It has since been outclassed by the OnePlus 3 and LeEco Le Max 2, but for those looking for a flagship-class phone with an IR blaster, this is a good option. It’s fast, compact and looks really good as well.
