Reliance Jio has launched four new data add-on packs for their prepaid customers priced at Rs 11, Rs 21, Rs 51 and Rs 101. The Rs 11 data booster pack offers 400MB of high-speed data, whereas users recharging with Rs 21 and 51, will receive an additional 1GB and 3GB of 4G data respectively. Jio customers can now avail 6GB of data while recharging with Rs 101 add-on pack.
The validity of the aforementioned data add-ons is same as the user’s current base plan’s validity. So if a customer’s current base pack is the Rs 98 prepaid recharge, which offers 2GB high-speed data for 28 days, they will be able to make use of the data booster add-on to get up to 6GB 4G data for the same validity period.
Also, the add-on packs can only be used after one exhausts the high-speed data limit their base pack offers. It should be noted that the new packs do not offer any voice benefits and only come with added data benefits. These data booster packs are not applicable for JioPhone users and one can recharge with them via the company’s website or the MyJio app.
Reliance Jio had previously unveiled the above-mentioned data add-ons alongside the new Rs 49 plan for JioPhone users, however, there were no details regarding the amount of data they offered. The Rs 49 recharge for the low-cost feature 4G phone offers free voice calls, 1GB of at a validity of 28 days. The company has also resumed pre-bookings of the JioPhone and is now allowing buyers to book a maximum of 5 devices at one go. You can read more about it here.
