Lenovo has launched its IdeaTab A2107 tablet (a.k.a. Ideapad Tablet A2107) in India for Rs. 13,495. The tablet runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and is powered by a 1 GHz Cortex A9 processor.
According to the official Lenovo IdeaTab A2107 spec sheet, the tablet comes with dual-SIM slot (GSM GSM). It measures 122mm (W) x 192mm (H) x 11.5mm (T) and weighs 400 grams. The tablet has a 7-inch 5-point multi-touch display with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution.
Other key specifications of the IdeaTab A2107 also dubbed as Ideapad Tablet A2107 include 2MP rear camera and 0.3 MP front camera, 1GB RAM (512MB for Wi-Fi only models), built-in storage of 4GB/8GB/16GB, microSD slot, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS,microUSB, 3.5 mm jack, G-sensor and Ambient light sensor. The Lenovo IdeaTab A2107 was first unveiled at the IFA 2012 event along with the IdeaTab S2110, A2109. The IdeaTab S2110 10-point multi-touch display, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 1.3MP front-facing camera, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and micro-HDMI port for full HD viewing of 1080p on an HDTV and USB port.
The Lenovo A2109 specs include a 9-inch, four-point capacitive display (1280 X800 resolution), quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 CPU and graphics card. The device also has two speakers and a micro HDMI port, dual microphones, a 1.3MP camera up front and a 3MP camera on the back, a microUSB port, up to 16GB of storage and a microSD card that supports up to 32GB storage.
The India launch of the IdeaTab A2107 comes shortly after the company unveiled its K900 phablet at CES 2013, featuring Intel Clover Trail processor, 5.5-inch IPS display with a 1080p resolution and Gorilla Glass 2, a 13MP camera and 16GB internal storage. Read more about the device here.
