This is a excellent smartwatch, but a year old. With the launch of the new moto 306 2 at 19,000, it does not make any sense to buy a year old launched product at this price. There is a considerable price drop and discounts outside India on this watch. I already have the Moto 360 2, and would still order the LG Watch if it was prices at 6k-7k.
The watch with all its specs and all is a definite pick, but to see from a usability prospective the watch doesn't offer that much at this stage. The android wear technology is still in its early stages there are still a lot of bugs in the software and the connectivity is not that good also if any data corruption happens its quite hard to find any resource on net to resolve it. Android Wear still needs to evolve a lot.I have been using this watch for past 6 months and only thing i do with watch is to see the notifications which come and increase decrease the volume of songs, i would say with this price tag it is a hefty price to pay for such small things.
This is one finest product in 1st stage. Bought this product for Rs.5,300 ... Reviewing after 2 months of use. I feel happy it is worth for money. Pros- Sensors, Battery, Performance, Navigation when riding Cons- Square shape(We don't get much watch faces) , No dedicated power button
As my 4 months of usage of this product. There was not a movement which made me feel disappointed. I got this product for 5k and this was cheapest among all in money wise. Its better than all the watches currently running in the market. Active Display is marvelous.Moto 360 dose not have that feature. Proper charging keeps the watch awake for 2 days. Moto you hardly get a day. Features it is same as moto. Expect moto has heart rate monitor and this watch dosent and moto has AMOLED display and this is an IPS display. Apart from that compare to all the other watches in the market this is the best among all. Thank you Flipkart for this wonderfull product.
Good Product, very useful for riders,we can get the notification instantly without taking the mobile, display quality is good, battery backup also satisfying,if you use the simple watch face you may get 24 hours battery backup,G watch band size is 22m so we can change the band as per our wish.
I'd got this as a gift; though it doesn't have a camera and you need to connect it to the charging dock to switch it on (in case you've switched it off).. it's a great buddy especially if you drive a lot.. Connect your phone with a Bluetooth headset and the Android Wear makes you addicted to it.. Its so convenient to answer calls and prioritize notifications of SMS or Whatsapp etc. The Google Now works excellently and making calls while on road was never safer.. Corning Gorilla Glass would have been an added advantage.
I am using this smart watch since last 1 week. I have noticed the following things: 1. This watch is light and comfortable in hand. You can pair it with any android smartphone having 4.3 or higher version. 2. You can not always keep the watch connected to your phone as It drains the battery very quickly. 3. You also can not keep the screen always on as the battery drains completely with 10 hours. 4. Not much built in watch faces available. 5. No health app/sensor available. 6. But still considering the price, the watch is good.
Better than Moto 360 and any other out there - 1. I love the design. The other watches (except Asus which came in late) the design is Minimal, Simplistic and all that you need. It is not Bold not Big not Spotty. The watch blends in on your hand. I personally don't like the straps but that is not a problem. You can get the straps changed from any watchmaker just takes a regular 18-20mm strap. 2. The battery is the best in market. It has 400mAh battery compared to 320mAh of other smartwatches. With the 5.0.1 OS update it easy gives me 2 days of battery life and I'm a power user. 3. The charging dock is awesome. It is as small as it gets so your are good for travel and it is magnetic so your watch is safe. 4. The build quality, the Gorilla Glass 3 - the Metal Band - the hard plastic back, protects it from breaking and scratching from all the places I have banged it and used it in. 5. It has an LCD display, not that good in sun but that is a problem with every smartwatch. I keep it on 'Always On' and still make it through 2 days. Impossible on other smartwatches. 6. (Specific to Moto 360) - LG has a Snapdragon processor compared to Moto's Texas Instruments Chip. Snapdragon are not only good on the battery but their architecture all has a better support for android. 7. LG watch doesn't has a Heart Sensor compared to the majority that does. But the fact is you don't need one. It uselessly kills the battery life and you just don't need to know your heart rate (just a measurement for how many calories you burned). The heart rate is every other smart watch is TOTALLY inaccurate, it is only relative. If you need a smartwatch for that purpose you better buy a fitness tracker to get accurate results. 8. The price point it is available at is actually lower than most of the fitness bands so grab one before it goes out of stock. I was able to get it at Rs.6,000.
for flipkart this watch is priced bit high Good watch for notification and got Android wear con: don't have heart rate monitor
Lovely product, but no dedicated button for on/off and be careful that it's only work with android 4.3 and above... my galaxy grand quattro is not supported
