Everything is good in the laptop, except the touchpad. I have to compulsorily use an external mouse. So I would say Don't buy this laptop. I'm regretting it. I could have waited, or just checked the laptop once physically, before buying online.

***GAMING*** The games I have tested so far : 1. Assassin's Creed: Black Flag -- Medium settings @ 1366 x 7682 2. Assassin's Creed Unity -- Low Settings @ 1280 x 720 (Yes it runs this beast of a game, without lag at around 30fps, and believe me, the game looks pretty. You need the 1.2.0 patch for this game though) 3. Far Cry 3 -- Medium Setting @ 1366 x 768 4. Far Cry 4 -- Low Settings @ 1280 x 720 (make sure to keep the lighting settings low to make the game look good. It just looks horrible at high lighting) 5. Bioshock Infinite -- Medium to High Settings @ 1366 x 768 6. Battlefield 4 -- Medium Settings @ 1366 x 768 7. Arkham City -- High Settings @ 1366 x 768 8. Metro Last Light -- Medium @ 1366 x 768 9. Shadow of Mordor - textures and lighting high, rest low @1366 x 768 to get smooth 30 fps 10. Skyrim -- High Settings @ 1366 x 768 11. GTA IV -- High settings @ 1366 x 768 **BATTERY** It gives me anything from 5hrs to sometimes 10 hrs depending on my usage. I took it to college on 70% battery. It was under constant use while being connected to WiFi, typing documents, uploading documents, converting documents, burning 2 CDs. The display was on almost all the time. It lasted from 9am to 3pm with 4% still remaining. That is it lasted for 6 hours starting with only 70% battery ***LOOKS*** Looks beautiful. Outside, it's all white, with silver HP logo. Inisde, it has metallic finishing. The linear text outside is really good. You can get rid of all the marks on the lid including ink by just wiping it with a wet cloth. The base has a different texture than the lid and requires more cleaning. In short, make sure you clean this laptop once a week. ***INPUT*** Track pad is superb. My friend, who's an Envy user says that my trackpad is better. The keyboard is good, but not Envy or XPS level. ***Output*** The display according to me is nice. Decent viewing angels. Doesn't have any tint, blue or yellow. (Thank god it doesn't!) Speakers, despite being "Beats" are average. Sound quality is clear, but not very loud. **BUILD QUALITY** It's average. Made fully of plastic, doesn't feel very sturdy, but it is, which is surprising. The material on the laptop except the lid, is not very good. Requires constant maintenance, which can be a pain for some. ***HEATING*** No heat on normal use, none at all. Runs coooool. On gaming, it depends which game. Runs warm on Assassin's Creed unity and black flag. Runs HOT on Far Cry 3 and 4. Unity clearly require more processing power than the others, but still produces least amount of heat. Either way, I'd recommend a cooling pad with a fan on the left to align with the vents of this laptop.

This laptop seems pretty good at handling multitasks after uninstalling/disabiling some bloatwares. And the main part about this laptop is its gaming performance which is very much good. Tested few games like nfs the run(at ultra settings), nfs rivals(medium settings) and watch dogs(low settings). These games are played 1366x768 native resolution. Here it is what you are looking for. Its the best laptop you can ever buy within 50K. After doing hectic research for 3 months, finally found the perfect match!! I bought this laptop for 49K and got it within 24 hrs, and i have to say this , flipkart has done it! In a single day it Delivered product to my home which is 360km away from warehouse! KUDOS to flipkart! Got wonderful offers including a HP branded backpack as freebie! I am writing this review after using the laptop for a week..here are +ves and -ves PROS: ->Design : Sleek body which with curved edges providing an elegant outlook. Snow-white color is eye-pleasing and the surface is mat-finished with linear pattern which acts as scratch-proof panel. Trust me. U will definitely fall in love with the design. ->Specz: With 8Gigs of RAM and I5(4210-U) processor with 1,7Ghz to 2,2Ghz clock-speed its a highly efficient laptop. 2gigs nvidia graph, Runs all games such as Far cry,assasin creed in ultra grapics with ease! ->OS : Pre-loaded win 8.1 (genuine) is performs much better than win 8. many good stuffs such as macafee internet security and other goodies comes along with this! ->Battery: Max 3-4 hrs for normal usage! CONS: ->Hard disk noise occurs rarely.. its not a thing to bother much. but yeah as i read previous reviews,,its true tat sometimes we hear low noise. ->enormous bloatware which consumes space .. and needs to be uninstalled! ->heats up a lot during games, better to use cooling pads for gaming! ->office 365 and mcaffe needs to be purchased after trial period is over! Note: -> 1TB HDD needs to be partitioned once purchased for effective organisation of drives. ->Backing up of System recovery needs to be done to save OS and other built-in drivers onto USB or DVD's as a safety measure. Overall,, its a best buy! U just go for it blindly! since its white color , needs attention..Its an amazing product!! Go for it! give 5/5!

I purchased the product from the hp seller not from flipkart. I'm getting the noise from the hard disk.. As already an user mentioned the same problem here.. So be aware and check the laptop carefully then purchase it..

Laptop Is Good But you Know before you buy this the following points: -Laptop Design is Best -Screen is Bright and good viewing angles. -i5 4th gen processor is not faster as written on Flipkart site 2.7 is not correct it is 1.7 and after turbo boost 2.40 GHz but it automatically reaches to its top speed on need so don't worry about it. -Beats audio don't have bass woofer like Envy have. -Gaming Performance is Lag free and no cure problem while running. -I played All NFS games on Ultra setting no lags are seemed. -Linear pattern is boring. -Dont worry about Nvidia Not support Pirated games it supports you also get two option to run games on Intel HD or Nvidia. -True Battery Backup is When you play game on 100% charge It will give you 3.16 Hrs of battery life. And Mails and online official work on charge of 100% it will give you 5 Hrs or more backup. -Go for it Blindly.

I am reviewing this based on 10 laptops of this model i bought plus : for the price range , with this much configuration , this model is a good choice . beatsaudio is amazing . graphics is good minus : touch pad performance is below average . the keypad is so poorly built that many of the keys got frozen after 1 week of normal usage . battery backup is below average .

well..there are many things to be said about this laptop...firstly it is brand new in the market which comes out in the p series...the model near it was the n series which is now out dated.. coming straight to the review.. PROS:- 1.LOOKS:-yes it is one hell of a beautiful laptop..almost gives me a feeling of owning a mac...it is white in color with a brushed parallel pattern..it is sleek and totally worth the second look.. 2.PERFORMANCE:-it comes with a new generation of i5 processor..which gives a clock speed of 1.7 ghz and turbo boost upto 2.7ghz ...the performance so far was smooth...crisp...without any lag..and the complete booting(after the log in also) took merely 45 seconds..i did a lot of multi tasking with ease and without any error.. 3.GAMING:-it comes with geforce 840m which is considered to be 30% faster than 740....but according to my experience i would say it is around 20%...but still i played battlefield 3 with ease and the experience was just awesome(although my first gaming laptop...i was delighted with its performance) 4.DISPLAY:-the display is bright and clear and very comfortable to thee eyes.. 5.AUDIO:-it comes with the beats audio...the thing missing in the n series...the sound quality is above average and crystal clear without any distortion...totally in love with it.. BATTERY:-this is the best thing about the laptop..the new i5 series processor keeps the performance so optimized that it nearly gave me a battery backup of 6 hours..this is the actual best thing about this laptop.. CONS:- 1.its actually not a fault...the heating while gaming is a bit(just a little bit) high...although there is no such other problem... 2.its white so it tends to get dirty..but its worth the effort to keep it beautiful... altogether its a perfect laptop for the college goers...who want a decent gaming laptop...and also the style..i got this laptop for 52k with the accessories..dont give any second thoughts now...go for it..its worth the money :P

Okay so I made a jump from Compaq Presario CQ60 to this one .. I think this is the best laptop in this range. Here are the Pros and Cons:- Pros:- 1. Stunning Looks .. Fell in love when I first saw it 2. 8gb RAM which is more than enough 3. i5 4210U processor which is the latest and quite fast 4. Nvidia GT 840m which is better than the 740m and will play most of the games at medium/high settings .. currently I have tried:- (i)NFS The Run at ultra settings and the game ran without any issues (ii)Batman Arkham City at default settings .. It runs perfectly all the time but only when there are a lot of thugs around .. there is a bit of slowness in the playing experience .. but it is not an issue (iii) Max Payne 3 on mostly high settings and there were no lags or issues (iv) GTA 4 on high settings and there were no lags or issues 5. No Heating in day to day use .. I have heard that HP laptops get heated quite easily .. to my suprise this laptop is an exception .. I use it for around 13 hours a day .. You keep it on bed or anywhere you desire .. this won't heat up .. it stays around 40-45 degrees .. Only while gaming I put it on a cooling pad .. 6. Keyboard is awesome .. Love typing on it 7. Battery life is good .. I got around 3-4 hours .. but I am using this directly on AC power without the battery Cons:- None so far .. I'd also like to say that :- 1. Beatsaudio is simply an equalizer setting .. it is a marketing gimmick .. comparing this with my Compaq, I'll say it is 30% better in sound .. don't expect mind blowing sound 2. Had to remove a lot of HP crapware to make it to run fast 3. Viewing angles aren't so good (not a con IMO considering the price I paid and the features it has) Verdict :- Go grab it .. it is one of the best in this range .. It has got all the features you'll need
