At first look and first week usage, it is behaving excellent. TV not heating at all, I am using as a Display monitor and TV is not turned off since last 72 hours. 1. Sound quality is excellent, just select the proper sound channel from setting. 2. Display brightness is excellent and easy to change with some pre-defined settings and also custom settings. 3. Tried using default apps like YouTube, Prime, Hotstar working fine with no lag 4. Downloaded Zee5 and using that also with No lag 5. Remote Voice Assistance works flawlessly. 6. Mobile Screen Mirroring also works without any lag and quick easy connect. 7. Easy plug and play like USB , HDMI, headphone. The only problem which I found till now is, 1. I was not able to insert 2 USB device together as USB ports are too close and I guess this is not a first time, this was supposed to be taken care by VU. 2. In Remote, Lower Key and Home Key are just close together. If you are not watching remote while pressing the down key, you will end up pressing Home key and that will bring you to the home screen. I am facing huge problem with this. More than 30 times I pressed home key while pressing down key Remote screen shot is added in the review Else, I ordered the product as soon as launch was over and I got delivered next day in the morning and next day of delivery I git it installed and using. PS : I will update my review again after 1-2 month of continuous usage.
Best 55” tv under 40k budget. Pros: 1. Picture quality is fantastic. You will appreciate the Brightness in day time. Dolby vision, HDR10 is added advantage. 2. Extended software: latest android os. Bluetooth 5.0, UHD streaming options are surprising to see in this budget range. 3: storage: 16 gb storage is decent to download apps and store few favourites movies for quick access. Cons: 1. 30w Speaker is not up to the standard. Background sound is overpowering the voice. Clarity of midslow is very mild. 2. HDR 10 requires more than 1000nits display details. No point of having HDR 10 in 400nits tv but no complaints with picture quality. I am happy with my purchase. I will definitely recommend if you are looking for budget friendly 4K TV.
Very good TV at this price. If I connect Fire TV stick the clarity is more.Pen Drive, external hadr disk and DVD player working smoothly.Got it at a good price.Remote buttons should have been white color.Hott keys are added advantage.Go for it.
Decent product. HD channels of my Airtel DTH are super good to watch.. SD channels are just average.. Infact below average.. Haven't tested other OTT apps due to lack of LAN connection.. Remote quality is average.. With the price it commands, it's a true VFM product.. I'll update my comprehensively after usage of a few weeks...
Conneted to tata sky 4k box. The problem is we don't have many 4K content. The upscaling for HD channels are handled well. Sound is fine. The only issue I could feel was with casting. Everytime I cast the wifi connection broke and had to restart the TV to connect back again. Maybe a SW glitch. The Chromecast seems redundant as it's in bith the dth and TV and you can use just one. Lastly when we start TV I have to select input everytime to choose HDMI. Not sure if I can set a default as I have to do it everytime we start.
Was planning to buy the 4k option of VU premium on Flipkart. But it wasnr deliverable. But saw that an upgraded model Ultra was introduced and bought it without having second thoughts. The picture quality is vivid, rich and spotless. The panel is a grade. Dolby vision makes this panel look like OLED. Seriously, not exaggerating at all. The Dolby audio output is brilliant when paired with a Dolby supported speaker. Brings theater effects right to your house. TV has ARC and Optical input options unlike Mi. All required apps come pre-installed and the OS is clean Android. So many picture and audio tuning options available. The built in speaker does the job, but lacks bass. Buy an external speaker to experience Dolby atmos fully. Cons. The wall mount is flimsy, better place it on a floor stand. That's the only can I can say about this TV for now. It's just brilliant
This TV is as advertised in the website. worth all the money got mine first day first show for 32999. sound quality is decent and android experience is very predictable and easy to use. video up scaling of non HD content is average screen bleeding is visible at time but the software automatically adjusts this to give ok performance only sony x8500 delivered better performance than this and it costs a whole 50000 more. lastly i was expecting a made in india tv but when the packaging arrived with a made in china sticker i was totally disappointed. i have a point for the sellermanufacturer the name of the tv in the menu is coming as HISmartTV. is it a local rip off or is VU using HI sense tv panels and renaming them as their own?
I had been planning to buy an MI 43 inch Smart TV 4X until I had to look Wife's orders for an alternate and saw the Specifications for VU 43UT Coincidentally on the same day of it's release. I bought it for Rs.24999 with SBI CC offer without skipping a beat and received it 3 days after. I couldn't contain the excitement and installed it myself Table mount. Recorded the whole installation, for safety without waiting for the Installation technicians. It is very easy to configure you need a smart phone - obviously. I wanted to see how the 4K performance is, so, I started with few 4K videos on YouTube. And,i was impressed to say the least with the quality and the smoothness. And, i have been exploring multiple apps, features and settings. So far, i have no complaints. Yet to play games in it. Planning to buy a gaming controller. Once i have it, i will see the performance and update you all. TL;DR - Great TV, Lucky to stumble upon it, Got it, Tested it, Loving it and vouching for it.
