Best oled tv of 2018, with a drooling offer
It's hard to rate this beast as it is not a clear cut winner or losser or even an average rating would be fair. Picture quality: 5 out of 5 but not all would love everything on it if you are buying this tv for picture quality then you won't be disappointed at all but you need to know more. It all depends what you are watching on it. I am using it to watch netflix, hotstar, prime videos and so on. The content is important. Some might take time to adjust to the colours. The dark colours are just amazing to watch if it's 4k. Believe me you would watch again as again the same content because it is that beautiful. Now the backfall if the content is not that good the movie might look superficial. As in not real, animated sort off. The hdr affect of the software is good but again it's personal choice. It did not bother me that much but my wife had complained in beginning. Not sure if she grew into it or the netflix content has all good quality videos. Which it does. But out might look superficial or animated in some cases. I don't mind out intact i like that look. Sound 2 out of 5 The sound is okayish for the price range. Intact lower. I bought jbl 5.1 home theater system and yet to be honest it is not to par. Don't get me wrong the home theater is awesome but in some content i watch it in full sound which is really bad. I have fire tv as well 4k version so when i watch in it the sound combined with home theater is really good but yes the sound is really bad as in the tv alone. My hall is around 220 sq feet. Remote 4 out of 5 This is something i liked a lot. It works well even with fire tv. So no two three remote required. Even the sound in my jbl home theater is controlled by it. But i believe any other remote can do it. Overall is it good for the price range. If you ask me for the clarity and the dark deep colours it's surely. Is it worth 1.5 lakhs ... again the only tv in the price range that can give you same movie experience is sony a8f oled but it costs around 1.75 lakhs. And if you are g game freak then lg tv works better than sony oled. If you ask me wait for sale, the cost gets reduced by 20k then it is surely a cheap grab as of todays date to own a oled. If you are a movie buff like me you would go crazy on this screen
Hi Guys, Perfect TV over various QLED , LED etc. I am owning this TV from last 2 months. Perfect picture quality . Audio over DTH is a bit issue but I will say it's perfect for a 55 inch TV. Colours are accurate and doesn't over saturate. I have made a nice video that is available in youtube.
I bought this for 1 lakh 34 thousand. I must say the experience is quite outstanding! The picture quality is so good that even HD channels on airtel tv look quite nice. Sound is very very satisfying. Dolby atmos makes sure you here every sound produced in a jungle while watching Animal Planet. Only downside is volume is somewhat low. You can hear fine if you increase the volume and i could hear no distortion. Low volume happens only in set top box. You tube and other internet apps volume is good. Only scary thing is the issue of burn in. LG people told there is no issue of burn in in the recent models. Lets see what happens
The picture quality is fantastic. For the size the TV sound quality is excellent , actually surprised how good the TV performed .good app store all major steaming app available. Magic remote Is very useful. Overall satisfied With purchase.
Incredible picture quality. No one can matched. Magic remote is just awesome, searching and typing is super easy. Inbuilt Netflix, Prime video button on remote and they are working perfectly. Voice recognition features is also good. Only, the Sound quality is not up to mark. I have attached Bose portable speakers with the TV. Now now its feel like a movie theater, true surround sound. Amazon has done an excellent job. Delivery on the very next day and installation by LG engineers on the same day of delivery. No extra cost. One year warranty is free with the product. Altogether an awesome purchased.
My early tv was 55inch LED after 12th month onwards it’s started grabbing my money. Back Lights need to change at every 6to 8months which is costing 12,000. Still 4times changed. After that I brought this oled this is worst then this. At least I can effort backlight changing charges of 15000 for older tv. If some thing happen to this oled tv we need to start selling our properties to get it repair. It’s costs 1lac rupees to repair. If it’s have 0 rating then I’ll give big 0 rating for this
The nano led panels of LG have extremely short life. Within 2 yrs led's will start dying. I bought LG tv with nano led's. See the attached pic. There are black spots on the screen everywhere. Customer care charge more than a lakh as they replace whole led panel. Save your precious money and ditch LG. Their nabo technology have extremely small shelf life. The tv die in 2 yrs
