Many people have given negative reviews - don't know why! Instead of appreciating the engineering Asus has done for this innovation, you're complaining about earpiece and RAM management and Battery performance. Actually those who have earpiece issue, just don't keep the volume at the highest level, highest volume is just too much, it can be heard by your nearby people. So, there is no need. If you keep the the volume in between, then also you can talk to others outdoors. RAM optimisation is totally okay. It's loading heavy apps like PUBG, Asphalt, Lightroom easily. I didn't put only these 3 apps in background. There were several, still it's managing to load everything. It's a beast! Battery is super okay! Charging is also fast enough. At least I'm satisfied with it. Moreover Asus is providing updates regularly, there are bugs in each and every phone launching for the first time. Like no one is born perfect, no phone is 100% perfect, but this device is almost an exception. Asus will definitely provide bug fixes, so, chill and grab this. And I found almost no bugs till now. No partial review here, just posted to help you out who are thinking of buying it. P.S. I think people who are talking negative about this device, are the fans of some other brand, can't see Asus winning the race. 24/07/19 : Got another FOTA update, check out the voice calling quality, resolved! And yes, just turn the night mode on and click some photos, you'll be amazed! Decide wisely which one to buy.
i'm a fan of one+ mobiles ...but this guys jus came and deviated my thought of buying one+7...by showing some cool features....my first impression was soo nice and cool little bit heavy because of 5000 MaH battery and other than that every aspects of this phone was too gud..if u have any doubts of buying this phone plzz let me know guys..i'll help genuinely ....
Edited : Display is good , Charge is okay actually , Last till a day with normal usage , Camera is good , low lights are quite amazing , Pro mode is good , Panorama is okay , sometimes the high lights are lost , Top-end games all smooth , phones weights good. It's a good phone .
Pros: Camera, Notification LED, Massive 5000mah battery, Earphone Jack: heavy gaming performance, higher quality display (top range IPS LCD panel), No cons as of now.
awesome phone awesome battery backup and better pic
After lot of research got Asus 6z on 1st day itself. My initial impressions after a days usage : screen brightness is ok for an lcd, one needs to keep brightness at full when in outdoors. Bottom speaker is very loud, one of the best in recent phones, the earpiece speaker hardly outputs any sound. The Dts x sound mixer is quite gud & will give a nice output with premium earphones & flac files. The supplied earphones are decent for daily use. Camera obviously front camera is very detailed & back camera is decent enough for daylight usage. But camera really struggles in lowlight with lot of noise & the Night mode is below par , doesn't produce any details(software update needed). So much talked about 5000mah battery but on 1st day usage the battery discharged fast like normal phones, so wd wait for few days for battery to get optimised. Not happy with the Ram usage, at anytime it shows 4.8gb ram used out of 6gb,inspite of few apps open & hope on long term the phone doesnt start lagging. Another irritating thing was if we keeps the volume level at 100% call becomes very shrill, so always has to keep it 1/2 points below max earpiece volume. Overall for 32k,its a great vfm phone with few cons which can easily be resolved through software updates.
Initial Impressions Overall best phone in this budget. Display is good and vivid under bright sunlight as well you will not face any issue. Camera is great as expected in day light with many practical features though it takes a hit in low light but this can be solved with software update and GCAM is also under development so that should solve low light problem. Video quality is just awesome did 4k 60FPS a lil and the stabilization is much better when compare with other phones with OIS. Selfie camera mode will blow your mind with high quality image .. This is the best feature of the phone. Performance is top par with stock UI. Nothing to complaint here but could be better with RAM management. i guess optiflex is storing many apps in memory for fast loading and hence less free ram available. I did not had heating issue for now. Battery looks promising ..will comment after few days. The phone will feel heavy if you are used to light weight phones but i guess you will adjusted. Inhand feeling is good and doesn't feel thick because of the ergonomics. Wifi & cellular data 4g volte working as intended. Sound quality is good and loud on dual speakers and best through headphone jack. Provided earphones are of high quality and they sound superb with DTS and audio wizard. The only issue i face till now is the in call volume is low and sounds weird when you hear voice of other person. I heard this has been done intentionally for indian variant however it does not feel good and would advise ASUS india to keep it normal as it should be like other asus phones. Will post more after few more days.
