Mention 3 Pros of your review device:
Best in class display , build quality , performance
Mention 3 Cons of your review device:
Weight , battery life , lack of an headphone jack
Write about the performance of your review device:
Performance is taken care of by the Snapdragon 730G chipset, which is mated to 8 gigs of RAM and 128GB non-expandable storage. The Snapdragon 730G is the tweaked version of the SD 730 and features improved graphics. No wonder then that the A80 can handle intensive gaming with relative ease, and games like PUBG run smoothly even on high graphics settings. Day-to-day tasks and multitasking isn't a problem, and usage remains smooth. Write about the software of your review device:
You get Samsung's OneUI 2 with Android 10 , complete with the usual frills such as Bixby, Samsung Pay, support for themes, and Digital well-being. The set of preloaded apps also sticks to the norms, with apps from Samsung, Microsoft and the standard fare from Google but you can disable them it you like , along with others like Spotify and Netflix. I won't go into too many details here, but it's worth mentioning that Samsung's ecosystem of apps and services is quite nice, once you get into it properly, and apps like Samsung Pay, Samsung Pass and Samsung Health are handy. But I personally prefer stock android over anything .
Write about the battery life of your review device:
Powering the entire hardware is a 3700mAh battery that supports Super Fast charging with a bundled 25W charger. With the power-efficient SoC on its side, the A80 will definitely keep up with your entertainment and productive needs on a working day, unless you are too fidgety and play around with the selfie camera’s joyful slider. I was able to managed to get around 7 - 9 hours of casual use with calls, messaging, browsing and a few videos here and there, not forgetting some gaming in between.
Write about the design and display of your device:
The Galaxy A80 does not look like an everyday phone. Sporting a large near bezel-less display that pans across the device at 6.7in and comprises of a FullHD+ Super AMOLED panel. The AMOLED canvas is bright and vibrant with great contrast levels something that only Samaung can deliver .The display has no - notch and very colour accurate and HDR10 compatible which is really good anyone who watches a lot of media content will love the display .
The A80 uses a mechanised elevating camera module that comprises of almost 1⁄4th of the top panel. Camera module is made of three camera sensors and rises to do a backflip, rotating on an axis when pulled up for selfie mode to face the front. Sadly, there is no fall detection that helps prevent it from accidental damage when it falls to the ground. The rest of the rear panel is made from Gorilla Glass 5 that will withstand scratches while looking very elegant . Nevertheless, the case is required to keep fine scratches and fingerprint smudges at bay. The body is not IP certified either so ensure you keep it away from dust and water. Built with an aluminium frame sandwiched between two glasses, the Galaxy A80 is built rock solid but weighs a hefty 220g. However, the device feels solid to hold with a good grip when in use.
Your Smartphone's Camera Review
The camera get a pair of sensors a SonyIMX586 48MP primary and an 8MP secondary for wide-angle shots. The third sensor is a ToF camera that helps with depth-sensing in portraits. These cameras, along with an LED flash, sit on a rotating and flipping module that rests on a sliding mechanism sandwiched between the frame. The camera, on the whole, performs well, but takes a hit in low-light areas. In daylight, you can see a good balance of contrasts and colours that are vibrant and justify the AMOLED display. The AI scene optimizer can be kicked into action if you need help in taking some fancy shots, while pro users can stick to their rules of the game. While the camera uses a quad-pixel tech, it shoots or combines the shots into 12MP pictures to create best results. But as soon as the sun goes down you will start to see some noice and distortion in the images you can always use the night mode but you will have to keep your hands still . The ultra-wide camera (8MP) seems to perform well, but you can clearly see distortions on the sides. However, for wide shots from afar, this one will get the job done with no complaints
Final Verdict..!!
All in all, the Samsung Galaxy A80 is a decent smartphone for those looking for a completely unique and stylish design that works as a daily driver. With a price tag of ₹42,000 , the A80 does seem a tad expensive, and now it is really hard for me to recommend you this at this point of time because there are a lot of better options at a far cheaper price

Feels nice to be back on samsung after 5 years of Xiaomi. First impression after a day's use: - premium look and feel - nice UI - good value for money - good screen to watch videos -battery capacity could have been better Overall liking it more than my redmi k20 pro.
Camera quality and design is fantastic. The best part it's Made in INDIA phone. You can find the phone back cover as well and that too of nice quality . Value for money. Thanks flipkart for giving this phone in offer with high discount.
Excellent buy at 21999... Manufactured in India... Samsung is best and reliable using from last 15 years... Awesome phone with great features...
Got the phone for 22000 on sale , worth it for the same price point . Anything mor than that would be overpaying. Overall display is perfect. Camera is good . Size is a little bit more than convenient . But A LOT HEAVY COMPARED TO ANY OTHER PHONES. Probably the heaviest in the Samsung galaxy series.
See first of all thanks for Flipkart that it made it available for a price of just 21999. And for this amount of rupees I don't think I could have got a better phone. Especially the display oh it's damm good and the feel of the phone is just brilliant. I am highly satisfied but as there are some cons of every mobile so in this battery can be a issue for others but not in my case. Thanks
Awesome look. Under this deal, we can't get anything better than this. Great look and feel!! One UI by Samsung does a justice with this mobile. Awesome service by flipkart!!
This phone is a lit I mean total value for money I bought this phone at just 22k rupee and it is awesome superb camera, display and performance also look futuristic as it seems that it is due to over engineering. But phone is awesome best for Samsung lovers
Please read my entire review I had searched lot of videos in YouTube to make sure that I am buying a good phone. Many youtubers have suggested to not to buy it. They are giving following reasons 1. Due to complex front camera mechanisms, it wouldn't be last more than 6 month(But they haven't proof, just giving theory) 2. Battery isn't adequate 3. Very heavy phone Now I am giving you following reasons to buy it blindly in 22K 1. First of all, It's Samsung which is top mobile brand. 2. Samsung doesn't compromise with user's privacy. After apple they are giving best privacy security. Knox security is the one of the best privacy feature in Samsung. Other brand like realme, oppo, vivo, redmi, mi etc are nothing in front of samsung in this area. 3. Samsung doesn't compromise with display quality too. You are getting crips super amoled display in this phone with full views & no notch 4. You are getting premium quality smartphone body. 5. Who doesn't know about Samsung pay, there is no need to describe its important 6. Premium camera 7. Super fast charging So guys, don't listen anybody opinion, do what you seem right. Thanks
I am feeling lucky as most of people were not able to order this phone . I got it for Rs 20500 in installments. Best display ,best performance best camera and the looks of a premium phone which is missing in other .metal frame gives a sturdy feedback.
