Write about the performance of your review device:
My Redmi Note 7 is packed with a good set of specifications, it comes as no surprise that the Redmi Note 7 is a good phone to live with for most day-to-day tasks. The processor has enough power to handle the usual social and productivity apps that we all use, and it even does a good job in games. My Redmi Note 7 doesn't have any heating issues. Sure, the phone got warm after we played heavy titles such as PUBG Mobile for a little while, but it wasn't severe enough to make me to take a break between gaming.
Write about the software of your review device:
When I got My Redmi Note 7 it was running on MIUI 10, which is based on Android 9 Pie, and currently my Redmi Note 7 has MIUI 11 and also has the June 2020 Android security patch. MIUI 11 is lot improved form MIUI 10 apart from the preinstalled bolatware and semi ads on the UI, it is good. Redmi Note 7 will get MIUI 12 and Android 10 update, I hope the company will improve the software quality of Redmi smartphones
Write about the battery life of your review device:
My Redmi Note 7 has a 4000mAh battery and this phone also supports Qualcomm's Quick Charge 4 fast charging standard, if you use the right charger. However I still get only a standard 10W charger in the box. With the bundled charger, I can able to charge my phone up to 57 percent in an hour.
Battery life is good, and I typically managed to average an entire day's worth of usage on a single charge with a little left over. In my test for battery performance, the phone ran more than 12 hours which is not bad
Write about the design and display of your device:
Xiaomi seems to have gone the extra mile with design really knocked it out of the park in terms of design. Available in three striking colours, the Redmi Note 7 features a glass back which I haven't seen at this price point.
Xiaomi has used Gorilla Glass 5 for the front and back of the phone, which is quite impressive at this price point. The sides are still plastic, but overall, this device feels very premium to hold. The body also has a P2i nano coating which is said to make this phone splash-proof.
My Redmi Note 7 is a little tall but the sides are thick enough to offer a comfortable grip The Redmi Note 7 is a little heavy at 185g, even though I don't really feel the heft with normal use. The power and volume buttons are on the right, and have good tactile response.
The 6.3 inch LCD panel has a full-HD+ resolution, with good colour reproduction and decently high brightness of 450nits which helps in daylight.i also got software tweaks to adjust the contrast and colour temperature, which is nice
Your Smartphone's Camera Review
My Redmi Note 7 might lack the massive 48 MP camera sensor which the big brother have. but it has some decent specifications on camera.
In daylight situations My Redmi Note 7 captured decent images colours were good although a bit sharpness was lacking. The camera app's AI did a good job in detecting objects. The depth sensor helps me in capturing good portrait shoots.
Low light shots were decent but note great.
With a starting price of Rs. 9,999, the base variant of My Redmi Note 7 is the one for me that have a good looking phone with excellent build quality, a good display, a decent set of cameras, solid app performance, and day-long battery life.
