Am not a tech geek, but basically, it does what it is supposed to do pretty well. Absolutely Lightweight and comes with a fantastic sound system. Software occasionally gets some lag. Touch does not work that well for some programs and the additional touchpad features occasionally become unresponsive. But the probability of such an instance is almost 1/20 and thus statistically insignificant :p. Battery is quite good as compared to most others in same segment.
This is the a light weight 2-in-1 with the latest processor and HP has done a commendable job to beat the competition. A 1.7 kg laptop of this latest processor with 1TB HDD and Bang and Olufsen speakers for 54K is very attractive. Machine design, screen resolution are pleasant. Touch is perfect. Comes with Windows 10 preloaded.
So, as you read all of the reviews you might be slightly bent towards purchasing this product. But, trust me do not go for it. All of the reviews here tell how this is working when they received it or in its initial months, and how it looks. I have been using it for 7 months by now, and I feel like it was the worst product I have ever received. Its fan is not silent, it has a perpetual cacophonous sound coming from it and it is not the usual sound that comes from the fan. it is quite a disturbing sound coming from it, and same i have checked with other models as well, it is there in every specimen of this series. further, HP support sucks a big time. I have sent my laptop like for 5 times by now for customer care but instead of resolving my issues they have provided me with scratches on the laptop and later denying all the claims. THIS LAPTOP SUCKS and yea HP as well. I have much more to say about it but overall it is a bad pick. All the best.
Believe me they will make you cry with their policies. They will even say that it is an "act of god" to not to help you.
It is light and powerful. The touch screen is responsive and works like a charm. The final appearance is a professional one, suggesting efficiency. There are enough USB slots to work with, though a DVD drive would have been nice. It also lacks a dedicated graphics card. These are, however, acceptable compromises given the size and weight of the device. And if a graphics card is needed you're looking at the wrong price segment (not to mention display size). A word about the keyboard: Excellent travel and tactile feedback. For those of the old school (like me) you will fall in love with it. If I were out in the market today with this budget, I would not be thinking twice. One star deducted because of the somewhat clumsy looking hinge. It does not inspire the confidence of a hinge built to last. That will take more time to assess though.
within 10 day of purchase i request for refund as unit have problem but they rejected after that they contact me and said that contact HP service station they will help u if they nare unable to solve problem then we will refund ur money but till now HP not resolve the problem, I contact flipkart for the same and they told me that give us 2 day we will resolve this issue after 2 day i got a mail from flipkart they said that contact HP for resolution they are liers and looters
