i have been using this thing for 1 year just came here to check the specs for ref . the size of the screen is good for hd movies the keyboard touch are fine positive: low price expandable ram little graphics for apps 500 gig HD 3 hrs battery backup dvd drive wlan btooth negative not intel heats up and burns the thighs:) heavy 3kg comes with only 2gb ram only 2 usbs
The day I have purchase i spent my time to resolve the bugs of Asus. Please don't buy this laptop.Too may manufacturing issues.You need to sped a lot of time in forums to find out solutions of these defects.
This is best budget Laptop. Works good and has more specifications with less price. Webcam also fine.
Pros * Good laptop on budget * Has a DVD drive at this price! * Decent speed and performance (on 32 bit Win 7) Cons * Only one memory slot (can be expanded to 4GB according to Asus support - flipkart has mentioned 8 GB, I am not sure if that is correct) * System is slow on win 7 64bit (I tested it on 64 bit first)

Some lag in opening windows -> one needs to be patient OR RAM could be increased to 4GB ! (not sure whether it could be increased to 6GB or 8GB) Two USB ports are much closer, so not possible to use both ports in many cases -> USB hub is required to use multiple ports OS is not installed -> One can install win7 thr' DVD or usb drive. Very Good option for low budget !
cons 1)sound is not grt 2) hanging every time when i open media player 3)automatically switched off 4)windows explorer is not opening up sometimes
though i have not purchased it from flipkart but i hate negative comments of such a good product... PROS: glare display better sound quality internal ice cooling pad(others dont have this feature) graphic ati radeon 7340 ... battery back up upto 4 hrs... CONS: Processor is not so powerful but what u can get at price..
