Kingston has announced new SSDs for consumer and enterprise users. It has launched Kingston announced its KC2000 M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD, along with Data Center 500 Series Enterprise SSDs and A2000 M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD. The KC2000 features a 96-layer 3D TLC NAND and is touted to deliver high read/write speeds. The upcoming A2000 M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD features a 4 Channel Gen 3×4 controller and 3D TLC NAND. Coming to the Data Center 500 Series Enterprise SSDs, the DC500R in this series is optimized for read-intensive applications while the DC500M is optimized for mixed-use workloads.
